Same article on different sites - how much do you have to edit it?

When submtting the same article do different sites, how much do you need to tweak it in order not to lose any search engine rankings? Is it just a few words each paragraph that need to be changed, or a complete overhaul of the entire article?

    Honestly from what I have seen zero. I post articles at my blog and then resubmit them to sites like ezinearticles.com without any issue what so ever. People are going to tell you change the first and last paragraph honestly I see no reason why you need to or have to.

      Yeah, this will upset the apple cart. But I do the same thing. I have exact copies of articles on Ezinearticles that are on my mini-sites and they still get great traffic.
