Hello and welcome to the forum.

$100 per month is a good starting point. I would go with pay per click search engines that will only cost you around $0.05-$0.10 per click. That way, you get to test the waters and only spend about $5-$10 per day. Maybe even less.

I would create video and upload them to YouTube. This is free by the way.

    I would start blogging.

    I would start writing articles.

I would join forums and then add your website at the bottom so that when you make a post, it automatically comes up in your signature.

Pay per click is a good starting point if you want to invest in buying traffic.

Also if your into articles - you can spend the money to outsource it, so you have free time to do other things.

If you have something in the I.M. niche, you can always write a high quality eBook or guide, then post a WSO offering it for Free. The link should take them to a squeeze page to collect their email address and then give them the free report. This helps you to build your list and credibility. Rinse and Repeat

Of course, if it is not the IM niche, you can do the same thing with the Squeeze page and free report but drive traffic to it through PPC.

Check out Linked In as a means for advertising using PPC

In my experience cheap second tier ppc engines suck as far as the quality of clicks you get. Cheap usually equals poor, unresponsive quality. And obviously Adwords will burn through your 100 bucks in five minutes, BUT- if you know the lifetime value of your customer it could be considered a bargain if you've taken the time to make a business plan.

I would first optimize your funnel the best you can, then save some money for a solo ad. Just be sure you buy from a reputable firm.

Advertise on facebook or Google Adwords. Quality traffic guaranteed.

But you should make keyword research first in order to reach the desired audience.

You can use Google Keyword tool for keyword research purposes.

    7Search.com was made for you!

Cheap PPC, it does convert. I have used it and coached many people on PPC with it. It works! Great place to learn!

I wouldn't try Linked In or Adwords, they are both very expensive and you will burn $100 in an hour if you aren't careful. Bing is worth looking at but I still wouldn't recommend it unless you have a $500 monthly spend.

Try not to blow it all on one day. You should spread it over a monthly period so you have steady traffic and plenty of time for testing and further tweaking.

I would save that money for a while, until you have a plan.

Seriously. Buy NOTHING right now. Figure out a business model that will fit your work style. That's going to take a few days or weeks of digging around and asking questions.

Once you've got a plan that makes sense and avoids the common pitfalls, which you'll see as you dig into things, then think about the most cost-effective way to get started. Scale up when you've started making some money.

Starting slow is the fastest way to get going in the right direction.
