What about Solo Ads, List Swaps, or Email Blasts (I have never done a Email Blast, just read a ebook that suggest that method)

I hear good things about Safe-Swaps google it.

Email blast in my opinion is just not effective anymore. You might be able to get 1% response from it. Most people don't even bother to open those emails. They will just delete them. We have tried email blasts but did not get any better response.

Dont buy an email list. Use solo ads, adwords and/or bing ads, and advertising on high traffic blogs and websites in your niche.

...and throw an aggressive free marketing campaign at it also.

The highest quality leads that you can possibly generate come from selling self created products. By selling products you can be building your list at the same time. I'd prefer to have a 500 big list that generates me $5,000 a month on average, than having a 10,000 big freebie seekers list that doesn't even make close to that number.

I think the key principle that helped me to make more money from each lead that I generated was to think BROADER. You can do a lot with leads that you generate from your own products.

There are some decent CPA programs that pay you per lead, plus you get the lead as well. I really like the idea of this system. You're getting paid and are building your own list at the same time. Not a bad deal.

As for traffic, the highest quality leads are almost always generated through paid advertising. Here, people are looking to buy and with the right marketing strategy you can build a decent sized list in almost no time.

I have been really focused on list building the past few months, I get tried of sending cpa networks all of the leads I worked for. For me the best fastest way to build a list is solo ads they just work.

I have had good results with this wso.

I use youtube videos with my squeeze pages in the description tied to some free report or offer. The more videos you have directing to your squeeze pages the more opt-ins you'll get. Its a game of numbers. I literally have hundreds of videos throughout about 11 channels generating me leads. This is set it and forget list building.

The choice of which to use will vary by niche, but Social Media can be a huge asset in list-building, and little or no cost.

Targeting Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube seem the most effective to me - just be sure to vary your message to your audience.

Look, you might wanna look into solo ads/forum traffic/yahoo

For a good and cheap solo-ad seller you can go to safe-swaps and look for tommy mclaughlin

Forum traffic? simply put a sig leading to your blog/squeeze and start helping people in your niche, give away value and lots of it..

yahoo? answer questions in your niche on yahoo answers.

Traffic is always moving, traffic is always somewhere, you just have to jump in front of it with your offer and an arsenal of value.

emails blasts are not so bad, but you need a fresh source and not a list that many have already used and spammed. I found dailydomainemails[dot]com to be a useful source for that combining a mass mailing platform like emailwaves or similar services

You may want to try out my own strategy when I first build a list outside media buying.

-Get a free traffic from google, forums, social networking sites etc.,
-If you got 100+ email lists already, you can Adswaps to other List Builder to enhance the size of your list. It should be relevant to your niche when doing an AdSwaps.

Just rinse and repeat, and all are good to go.

Hi Lhighrise,

I would advise not to pay email list instead using paid traffic such as solo ads to build your list from scratch. I have used both free traffic and paid traffic and find that paid traffic converts better.

If you are on a tight budget, try to use free traffic such as giveaway events, article marketing, etc to build your list first before you go for paid traffic.

I think the only thing to build the list is to get more traffic.. more traffic means more subscribes, means more money..

You just need to know what type of traffic generation techniques that you should do.
FRee traffic has a lot to do, so does paid traffic.

Free traffic can be article marketing, solo ads, banner exchange, safelist, adswap, etc.
There are a lot of options available if you browse through the forum.

My vote is on solo ads.. but it depends to your niche. If its more social then FB or some other type of product PPC could be the best way. But guessing its MLM/IM, yeah solo ads,...

2) Bookmarking Sites: Stumbler, Reddit, Digg
3) Contacts: Share in your email, Forums, Email signature
4) Other Blogs: Comment on other blogs, Submit articles to other blogs
5) SEO: find good keywords will help bring free traffic from Google to your website

Well, there's building a list and then building a targeted list. 2 very different animals.

500 targeted subscribers will bring in more $$ than a list of 10k wild subscribers (and keep your autoresponder costs down)

Go to where you audience is, let them know about your offer. FB ads, bing/yahoo, anywhere you can "target" your audience.

* I leave out adwords cause they are too expensive and slap happy.
