Email list advice

How do you typically find out the optimal frequency of sending emails? Do you usually test the frequency until you find one that works for your business? How do you set up the tests?

    I email as frequently as I post on my blog....

    Its something that I never tested, its based on my philosophy that if I have nothing valuable to say I won't hassle my list.

    There are two things you can do....

    Pellet your list with offers and get them to potentially hate you....or offer them value.

    If you can provide value everyday then so be it.

    Whatever you choose to do you must be consistent...

    I.e. if you choose to mail 3 times a week then do that and not suddenly mail them 3 times a day.
