Where do you get affiliates?

I'm very familiar with Clickbank and how having a product there is pretty much all you need to get some affiliates but what about if you're not using Clickbank, eg $7 report, RAP etc?

I'd like to start selling some reports $7 style but I'm currently unsure how I find people to market it.

Any suggestions?

If you are offerig a $7 product, you shoukd offer 100% commission and also have a backend to pay the affiliates even more. Meanwhile you can grow your list and also make some nice money in the backend, that is the only possibility i see.

I understand all that but where do I find people who will affiliate market them for me?

Your best bet is to find JV partners or webmasters that have a good size list, it could benefit them well since they can get 100% commission and also make moe money on the backend, to find these sites just use google and find the sites that relate to your niche that are non competing and then try to get in touch with them. Your gain out of this deal is a bigger list which is also great

Personally, I started off in these ways to look for more partners (JVs and affiliates)

    1. Facebook group for IM ad swaps & JV
    2. Warrior Forums ad swaps threads
    3. JVnotifypro.com
    4. Ad swap partners exchange
    5. JV partners introduction
    6. Meeting people at live events
    7. Offer 100% commission using 7 dollars script

It works really well for me.

Hope it does for you too.

    Cheers,
    John

The product is in the weight loss niche not the IM niche. Is this still worth doing?

I think you would be surprised at how many Warriors were involved in the weight loss niche.

Most people like to do business with people they can meet in person.

Obviously this is not so easy to do but it can pay off big time to get even
1 reputable webmaster within the niche you're trying to make money.

And this is easier to do on live seminar or congress since there you meet people that have same interest within that niche.

Knowing more and more people that think like you and know more then you is always good way for growth.

Hi BetRoof, you have mentioned a great point.

Build relationship is important. It is always good to connect with people and get to know them in person.

Some internet marketers have monthly event even to meet up with their affiliates beside their subscribers.

            Cool, isn't it?

            Cheers,

Well if you're selling a report in the IM niche then you could
put something in your signature file right here that invites
              affiliates to take part.

Additionally you should also consider selling a couple of reports
through clickbank just get affiliates and then you can have them
              promote your other products.

Getting affiliates is no different than selling a product. In the case of getting
affiliates, you're selling the idea of having somebody promote one of your
                products.

You have to show them why they should do it. You have to give them
                incentives, which go beyond commissions.

As much as I hate canned ads, that's what affiliates want. They want as
much content as you can give them to promote your product. They want to
do as little work as possible. Just copy and paste.

And you have to advertise for them. They're not just going to find you. Trust
me, I am speaking from experience.

That's why I don't bother looking for affiliates. I'd rather put my efforts
into selling my products myself. Who knows them better than me?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have affiliates promote my products, but if
it's a choice between putting in the time and effort to promote my
products and finding affiliates, I'll do the former.

It's just a personal choice and not the right or wrong thing to do.

Point is, if you want affiliates, you have to go out and get them and give
them a damn good reason to promote YOUR product with all the choices
                that they have.

Steven, I don't doubt your solo methods work - the number of posts you've made here is a great testament to your single-mindedness of purpose and efficiency. But aren't you leaving a fortune on the table by missing out on the Multiplier Effect?

10 effective affiliates can cover the same ground in 10 minutes than we can in 10 full workdays. Every affiliate multiplies our effort many-fold.

I would not have a 7 figure income without my affiliates. If one visited at my door I would kiss their feet. I shower them with support. They are the greatest boon to marketing products ever - because they leave you the time to do other important things. And as we all know, free time is the true indicator of wealth.

                    Hi,

Not sure if this is the best method but sure is the easiest.

                    Ready?

Get your affiliates from the people who bought your ebook. Just put your link to be an affiliate in your ebook. Also when sending emails to your customers remind them you are looking for affiliates.

Who else you think would promote your ebook and care? Easy the people who used your ebook and got benefit out of it.

Happy customers are your best affiliates.

                    Terry

You don't need to go looking for affiliates -- turn your customers into affiliates. That's why we use $7 Secrets and RAP. In other niches, be sure to educate them with a READ_ME file.
