PPC campaign: How to..

INTERNET MARKETING

I have never done any sort of PPC campaign, but want to give it a try for a few different niches, mostly for my lead generation efforts for clients. I was hoping to get some advice from some experienced warriors (or links to good sources of how to info) for Adwords, and adcenter because I have heard it is tricky..

  PPC is good, but to me for the price and conversion for the IM market via Squeeze Pages, I wouldn't recommend it. I've tried 7Search and others, I did get some responses and subscribers from 7Search, but it can be costly. I would recommend "Media Traffic" where you cut out the PPC middleman and purchase a simple banner or text link advertising directly on the owners site. Works great

Welcome to the wonderful world of PPC! Some quick tips. When constructing your campaigns, adgroups and keyword lists; be sure to make them highly targeted. Very tight set of keywords/keyword phrases, same keywords included in ad copy. Even if you aren’t using keywords and just display ads, don’t forget to optimize your landing pages to help complete the conversion funnel.
