How Much Is My Website Worth?

I have a website in a profitable niche. Currently, it is PR2 and has about 60 articles. Traffic is average of 30 uniques per day without SEO or social media marketing. No revenue as I haven't put ads on it yet. How much can I sell this website? Any input will be much appreciated.

Monetize it and you will know. You can sell websites for 6-10 (or more) months profit on Flippa.

Was there anything in particular stopping you from placing ads on your site? Valuation is tricky, but one of the most common valuation methods is to multiply monthly revenue by 10 - 15. Here's more on how to value a website.

Your site isn't worth anything yet...you won't be able to sell it (most likely). You need at least three months of steady earnings to report before you can expect to sell it.

the pr is decent but I don't think you can get any real quote unless you discover how much of that traffic really converts

Another thing I would like to add that could raise your websites value is the domain. How old is the domain? And is it a exact match domain for a good keyword in the niche?

The domain itself is more than a year old and there are keywords in the domain, but not exact match.

    1. Unless its making money, its probably not worth anything
    2. Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
    3. Someone might buy it to build their own SEO network.

Typically sites sell for 12 months worth of income.

Like most of the comments on here, I would go to flippa and take a look around at similar website's to see what they are selling for.

I have found that most site's are usually being sold for around 6month's worth of there revenue.

If your site doesn't actually make any sort of profit then you will really have to promote it's potential and traffic stats.

Remember you will have to provide proof. Also the place that you bought and host your domain through should have an Auction available where you can promote your website or just the domain name itself.

Good Luck I hope it sells.
    Cheers Mark

The site will definitely be profitable, though. I saw a similar one that was getting good traffic that went for a very high price. Thanks for the info.

I assume you want to sell the site for the highest price possible, then you have to prove what's it's worth. Monetize it first, it will be easier for ppl to spend money on a site with proven (and better steadily growing) income, rather than just buying the potential. Not saying there aren't those who are willing to take a risk with only potential, but you will not maximize what you can get, if your site is really all that.
    Good luck.

It would probably cost more to list it than you can get for it at this point. There's no traffic or revenue. Unless there's something else truly exceptional about the site, it's just another startup.

Usually it's worth about 3 times the monthly income, but it really depends on what someone is willing to pay for it. With the right buyer that sees the potential in it, you could get more than you might think.

If you market it properly, it's also worth more. For example, if the content is all original and came from a writer that charges $0.03 per word, you can mention that. Buyers will see the value in the current content and might be willing to may more because of it.

The potential is very high for the site. I mean, are the articles not worth something? Saw a similar site that was sold on Flippa last year that went for more than $20k. It had more traffic.

Your website is worth around $50-200 depending on how good are these 60 articles and how well your website is designed.

It is nearly impossible to sell website on Flippa if you have no revenue for your website. Even if you manage to sell it it won't be the best deal for you because Flippa charges $29 for basic listing and 5% success fee (minimum of $10) so do your math if you can sell it for $100.

Transfer will cost you some few bucks as well so you end up with no money and no website.

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, so probably you can find buyer who doesn't know anything about online marketing.
