I just try to use Google for all my admin accounts using this page
https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/stan...ng-tabletop-en

I just have to edit some MX entries in CPANEL.

Your method is also good (haven't tried it)

One problem with this is: the sender will appear as "your gmail address On Behalf Of your domain email". I personally don't like this.

No, you can "send as" your domain email using gmail! Which the sender address will display as your domain email.

I have just tried it and this is what happens exactly. Anybody knows how can we do so the original email sender doesn't show?

I'm not sure if I do understand your question, but I assume your talking about autoresponders?

Yes, you definitely can set it up with Mozilla Thunderbird, it's a wonderful program that let's you setup all of your emails in one place.

You actually don't have to forward your email or go to cpanel at all. You can set it up using POP3 all in Gmail. Gmail just needs your mail server (mail.yourdomain.com) and the username/password of the account you want to retrieve email from.

You can set it to leave retrieved messages on your host or deleted them after retrieveing them.

When you do this you have the option of adding the email as an alias and don't have to set up the "send mail as" options.

Gmail also supports IMAP but I use POP3.

I set up IMAP with my Gmail accounts. Then when I use an email client on any computer they are all the same. I can send from any client and it is the same everywhere. I have gmail retrieve all my email accounts too.

What exactly was the problem?

When I send an email using gmail as my domain email, the sender does display as my domain email.

And the Traat as an Alias has been always ticked.

why would we want our emails to go to google?
I think I missed something here. I mean doesn't google have enough of our stats?

I rather just stick with cpanel.
Forward all my emails to my email account.

You can always login into cpanel emails by typing in the following.
www.yourdomainname.com/webmail

Or setup a 3rd party like outlook or Pegasus to access your email.

Someone please explain to me what is so special about google???

Well, of course you could do that, too. Gmail is just another alternative way

There's nothing wrong with going into domain.com/webmail, or using a 3rd party tool such like Thunderbird or Outlook, or Gmail.

My point of the tip was just to help those that are checking emails from the cpanel, because I was doing that for quite a bit of time...

Not only that, compare to those 3rd party tools, gmail gives you the access to your emails no matter where you are in the world!
