Hiring an actor for my youtube videos

Hi, as I'm not very good in front of the camera I wanted to pay someone to show up in front of the camera and teach for a minute or two about a certain topic. I would create the content and give the script to the actor who would just be in front of the camera and say the content I created...what should I take into account to get the ownership of the video...of course I will upload the video to my youtube account...but I dont want that the actor then sells the video to other people...just becasue he is the one who did the video...

    Hi

You can draw up a contract but get the actor to mention your url a few times in the video also. If they are determined they will find a way to edit of course but it's unlikely.

Check out Fiverr as there are some gigs offering this over there. Most of the gigs are very short so you may have to pay extra for a video lasting a few minutes.

Just make it clear in your emails that you own the content. That should be enough to prove it if anything goes wrong. But most reputable people are not going to use the videos you have paid them to create.

If it's a 1-2 minutes video , and it's mentioning your business name\url, and there's a receipt for the purchase, why would anyone claim it's theirs? Anyway, I used fiverr for dozens of these gigs and never had any issue.
If you're still worried, you can look for an agency (videotestimonial.org for example) it will cost a bit more, however there's an agreement that says it's your property and they can't use the video anywhere else.
    Good luck!

If it's only two minutes and your the expert on the subject...why not do it yourself. I believe it makes it genuine. That sincere human element that people connect with.

I`ve ordered similar videos from Fiverr and never really thought of this mainly because I think they are not interested in doing this... why would anyone want your video? Everyone who orders, they want THEIR video, with their specific message and such.

I would go to fiverr and have the seller sign a short agreement of not re-selling your video in full or in parts, to anyone else. That should solve the problem
