Default Underachiever Method

To anyone who has seen/tried the Underachiever Method...
Was just wondering if this technique would work today. I've been watching the videos and find it quite interesting and would like to give it a try.

Yeah I definitely think it could work, probably not EXACTLY in the same way that Frank and Ed tells you to, because things don't really work in the same way anymore, but the concept and philosophy holds true.

Yeah I'm thinking there's a few things that might have to change. Just not sure what. Maybe I should check out Mass Control 2 after this as it's probably a more "up to date" way of doing things.

No, I don't think it's based on the same philosophy at all, which is pumping out small websites each making a small income... the first thing that comes to mind that would need changing is your traffic generation....

Mass Control 2 is sold out. Might be pretty hard to find a copy. Might try ebay in case someone is selling their copy but it will be pretty expensive I imagine.

Forget it...concentrate instead on a system of locating a hot market, understanding what it is they are buying, offer them products to fulfill the desire and continue to work that market going up the value chain...

Getting the traffic, understanding the most efficient and effective keywords and buying triggers, knowing what your customers really want (better than the competition) are all too expensive to replicate again and again while you sell them $27 ebooks...IMHO

Better to do this work, then continue to give them more and sell them more over time building up a high-profit, high-growth business that is really worth something.

Ryan,

I have a box of "Like New" Mass Control 2.0, that I would be happy to sell. Save me the hassle of putting it up on eBay and make me an offer

"Like New" means, I opened the box, flipped through the manuals, read first chapters, and put them back in the box.

Seriously advanced stuff, geared for intermediate-advanced marketer, not a relative noob like me. Focuses more on product launch, than ongoing small niche sites the way I am trying to do. So not of any use to me at this time.

Does the flycatcher method work? Do you really get people to submit REAL questions in return for a promise of a free book in future?

I have heard of this method but don't know the mechanics of it. Could someone share how to actually go about doing it?

If you know of any flycatcher pages on the web, could you point me to them?

What other methods do you use to survey and qualify your potential niche?

I wanted to buy this course and there was a new one available on eBay for ~$100, but at the last minute someone over bid me

Anyone else here wants to get rid of their UnderAchiever Mastery course?

Thanks!

30 days challenge is good.

I was thinking about adjusting the Underachiever method to today's technology and market.

No Overture but Adwords and... hm...

What would be some of the changes? Anyone?

What a timely thread. Dan Raine (Ed Dale's partner in crime), just announced launch of The Underachiever Method 2.0 coming this weekend. Apparently only for Immediate Edge members.
