best place for opt in with sales vid on landing page?

I am not sure I would try to get them to opt in and buy on the same page. I know with jvzoo you can automatically have all purchasers opt in to your list. their is an integration option.

I think with clickbank you can do the same with your redirect page. But I mean for the people that aren't interested in my product so I can collect for affiliate marketing purposes. Just haven't seen many sales vid landing pages with opt ins.

ok, setup a squeeze/presale page on the same domain this page can precondition them to the offer on the next page which is your clickbank product. affiliates will be cookied sending them to the presale page so if they opt in and then purchase they will get credit. give something completely related away on the presale page.

Usually it appear on top side bar which they do not need to scroll and a powerful call to action on it . Some people might just give free thing or tips to those subscribers to push visitor to subscribes.

You also can consider use popup subscribe form which come just in time so they will not ignore and bounce away.

Most usually collect the email directly below the vid.

Keep in mind you're not going to get a ton of opt ins simply because people won't hit add to cart, an exit pop with free giveaway might be the best option.

My opt in form is below my proof video on my landing page.
Then they view a webinar right after they opt in.
Just make sure you video compels the person to opt in.

@steverich, I am launching my product and using a sales vid on main page. I get the splash page idea. But from everything I've learned so far is to not destract the customers from the point. Which would be the sale. Also to avoid to many clicks or they will just back out.

I'm not sure if a splash page with a redirect to my actual sales page will work. I will give it a shot in the testing though.

It's a case of testing everything...

a good way and converts well, is to place the the optin underneath your video...

Your video is where you are selling your service/product... and make sure in your video you give them a call to action for the optin...

p.s. forgot if its for landing page then place the optin on the right of the video above the fold should do well, but test it... the video should encourage people to optin then you can send them to a sales page for your product/service.

The best conversions my clients get is the video on the left and optin on the right.

The features of it below if need be as the video should be what gets them to enter their email address.

Saying that also make sure its above the fold at all times.

Is that for a splash page or sales vid for a products? so should i make a splash page like your stating and have it redirect after the sign up to a sales vid for my ebook and membership site? sorry I am pretty new at this. I have done a lot of research but don't have much experience yet.

Yeah splash page first so you get their email addresses and once entered they will be redirected to your sales page.
