The Beauty of Marketing

I am new at Marketing and am just starting out. I am just wondering when did Marketing take off. I remember when I was younger many companies opened up to advertise marketing. Whether it be online marketing to door to door marketing. I just wanted to see what is the best thing about Marketing. I think marketing for me, of what I have experience in, is the new people you can meet. The social factor for me is the best thing for it. I feel that when you meet people who can help you progress in your life. Whether this is mentally, physically, or emotionally it has to be nice. I just wanted to open this thread to say kudos for Marketing. There are many companies that offer good incentives to join in the money making venture.

    Hi there in Poland. I was in Lublin recently a few times and enjoyed it a lot.

    I think marketing has always been around - Jesus had people marketing him thousands of years ago.

    I think that as soon as people realised that you could influence other peoples thoughts and actions - marketing was born.

    For online marketing - you're right, it's great for making friends. I have many good friends now that I first met online because of IM.
