Hi, I own a large paid membership site with social networking features. I'm thinking of introducing a free version of the membership and would like to use email marketing the way for example dating sites do. What I'm talking about are for example the automatic emails that say: "we've found new matches for you", or "Sarah wants to meet you" etc (but in a slightly different way, my site is not a dating site). What I'd also like to do is be able to segment the list based on the information they provide in the registration form as well as send out regular "broadcasts". My question is, does anyone know what kind of email solutions they use to do this? Is it a standalone solution that can be bought somewhere or is it somehow programmed into their website script? I'm currently using Aweber, but I don't think that's going to do the job, it has to be integrated with the site itself. I greatly appreciate any information you may have on this. Thanks. |

Have you looked at Auto Responder Plus? I'm not quite sure exactly what you are asking, or looking for.

AutoResponse Plus is not suitable for that. That would be built into the fabric of the site software rather than a bolt-on autoresponder or mailing list manager. Cheers, Neil |

I guess you should put in your site a e-mail notifications so that every other day the site will notify that person for an updates. For example, if the site have found matches then the user will be directly be inform.

| Exactly, that's what I want to do. The question is what solution I use to accomplish that. If it should be programmed into the script or if there's a stand-alone solution.
