I see lots of talk on Marketing Blogs or Websites that are mainly Content Based.

Can anyone tell me how to Market a Web based Application?

It is just an Application which I don't think will have much of content to be written on. It is a Management system People use it to manage particular tasks.

How do we market such kind of a Web based App?

    If you're marketing to offline clients, go out and visit the people that you want to market it to.
    Find discussion boards or forums that are popular for your target audience, and post there about your product.
    Offer review/beta access to a few clients to get people talking.

    To market a product like this you need to target your audience VERY SPECIFICALLY!
