No optin form on your site so I'm assuming you're not building a list. Leave the "ranking" to people who don't know how to drive traffic to a squeeze page.

List building is so easy, I don't understand why everyone doesn't start that way. Simple, inexpensive to start, almost instant results, scaleable...need I go on.

Stop trying to do it the hard way and do it the smart way.

Hey Jake! It IS an overwhelming process. If you can stay focused, you will be way more ahead of the game than I was when I first started. I agree with previous posters about list building. This is where you will start relationship building and gaining trust with your subscribers. Just be sure to give people quality information and you can't go wrong. Become an authority in your niche, which I see is the *make money online* niche, and always be honest and you'll be golden! Good luck!

My Friend, your comment was gold! I can't see why it's the most ignored method yet it's one of the most effective ways to have targeted sales.

Also I would recommend designing you an agenda. It really helped my focus. When you get up schedule time for everything you want to accomplish for the day

        It's definitely overwhelming.

Having just started out, I know how you feel. The key is to just keep focused on one thing at a time. If you are busy looking at all of the possibilities out there, you will never get anything done.

        Good luck on your journey

Agreed. SEO has become too much a hassle with all of these Google slaps. I'm in the beginnings of building a list to hopefully ensure a more consistent form of income. After all, the money is in the list! Well, it's really in the relationship with the list.

Thats how I feel. Seo, ppc, backlinks, content - argh. Im spinning in circles right now. Cant seem to focus on one thing because every where I turn there seems to be a better, more doable method. Maybe I need to step away for awhile.

Find a place where a massive crowd gathers online. Listen to the conversation. Find out what that niche desires. Give it to them for an email address.

Now understand what the crowd thinks they want and what they need are two different things most of the time.

You now have them captive. Leverage that. Help them understand they really need what you have to offer. Sell it to them.

This seems to work much better than playing the search/keyword game and hoping the traffic finds you and your answer.

Just looked at your blog. Not trying to be mean because you are more than likely following some ill gave advice.

Even if you decide to go the keyword route what you are doing will not work. First you are stuffing your keyword so much ranking is almost guaranteed not to happen.

Second: By writing for the search engines you are killing your chances of ever engaging the reader. Nothing wrong with formatting a keyword into a well written piece of content as long as it is readable and engaging.

It bothers me when I see someone that is truly working their butt off doing the wrong things the wrong way. Just take action strikes again. Back up. Think about what you want to accomplish. Enjoy Thanksgiving. Friday .. after your head is a little clearer. PM me. I will help you and I don't want your money. Ask anyone on here. I don't charge people I call out.

Try CPA, it's very lucrative and doesn't have anything to do with SEO. Ever since google started slapping my niche sites, i was furious and pissed off. I went ahead and started with CPA.

Not making as much as i did with my niche sites take in mind i had 330 or something like that websites. I'm still making good cash with the sites still but, i shouldn't have depended my income on SEO. Little did i know google would slap the heck out of my sites.

Also take in consideration to building a list! i'm also going to be releasing a FREE WSO for building a list in record timing! yes i know a shameless advertisement, but i want you to look at it and hope to take some value from it!

Also just have a little bit more to add, if you aren't apart of the war room you should think about upgrading your account. Many warriors do provide great value onto that room. I think it's 37.00 , if you are on a tight budget you can decide if it is worth it or not to purchase it. In my own personal opinion the war room is great and worth it, also upgrading your account gives you some great perks!

Anyways, good luck in the future.

One of the wonderful things about the Forum is that there is so much advice. Sadly, much of it is off-base, some of the great advice may not mix well with other great advice (there has to be a strategy, not just mix and match pieces), and all most all of it can lead to overwhelm!

When I've had my best successes is when I've focused on one thing at a time. Do to that, my best advice would be to find a great mentor. Buy one of their courses and learn step-by-step what to do. There are many, many good mentors out there -- it all depends on what your main interest is. Just make sure you follow people who truly make their livings doing what they sell. (Lots of selling goes on in this Forum by people who don't walk the talk.)

As examples, if you are looking to make money blogging and making affiliate income, you might want to check out courses by Brian G. Johnson or Aidan Booth -- they are both amazing teachers and will walk you through, step-by-step. From a quick look at your site, I would guess this might be a direction you're hoping to go, so that's why these particular recommendations. However, if your interests lie elsewhere -- offline marketing, for example -- Brian Anderson, Mario Brown, or Dr. Dan would be great folks to learn from. I'm sure other people could offer suggestions of terrific mentors as well.

It's truly all about focus. That's why I recommend a course, ideally with some coaching, so that you're not piece-mealing bits of this and that together. Find a direction, stick with it, learn as you go, find what works, rinse and repeat.

    Best of luck to you!

    Jake,

Every internet marketer started where you are today. We all have the same opportunities just like the guys and ladies who are earning $10,000-$100,000 per month online each month.

Big hint: They started a $0 when they got started online.

The one thing you need to do right now is to get your own list so that you can follow up with prospects. On your website, don't even give people any reviews. Give them one option and that is to opt into your auto-responder.

That way you can follow up with them each time you want to promote something.

How do you get traffic to it?

I would do everything in my power to educate myself on what works today in the internet marketing world when it comes to targeted traffic.

Learn PPC and try it out small.
    Start writing articles.
Start doing videos and upload them to YouTube.

Test things out to see what works for others.

And from every setback that you will have online, you will learn something.

I know techinical infromation about IM is extremely important, but you also have to have a good mind set FOR IM. It is very easy to get overwhelmed because there is always so much to do, but instead of thinking of overall work that has to be accomplished take it a step at a time.

What I do is a I always make a list of what has to be done for my business, so break it down into sections and then do them one at a time, instead of waking up in a the morning and saying "shit I have to work on my business", instead of "I need to accomplish this part of my business today". Also it all about how much you want it, every single person here on the warrior forum started off as a newbie, before I started online business and IM I had $16.23 in my bank account that is a number I won't forget now, well lets just say I am living comfortable, trust me once you started making some money you will see the possiblities, good luck man!

Had a quick look at your blog,

Are you sure that you want to be marketing "make money online" when you don't know anything about it yourself?

And i'm not coming from the moral angle, but more the feasibility angle.

The IM niche is a pretty tough niche to win at, especially if you have no experience in any of it!

I'd go back to the beginning and take a look at the skills and experience that you do have, and then, if you really want to stay in the "make money online" niche, then figure out how to market a service or product that utilises the experience that you have.

That way you'll be doing something that you're already good at, and you'll have some credibility that'll help you sell your product/service.

As per Troy, if you need some help with this stuff, PM me and i'm happy to give some tips where I can.

Everyone else also gets just one crack at it - help make theirs awesome too... or, politely step out of their way.

I can feel your frustrations. I, too, am overwhelmed by the tidal wave of information that accompanies Internet marketing. They say that using the Internet to get information is just like drinking from a fire hydrant.

I suggest that you concentrate on one task at hand before moving on to the next. I now use a time management tool named Hitask to list all my tasks, which I then sync with my smartphone for convenience. It helps me keep myself under control because I tend to be a multitasking freak!

Like Randall said, you def. have to take breaks. Taking breaks helps you gain perspective, so that you can get back to work. On another note, you might want to invest in some software like seolink robot or senuke to help you with your workload and to get your links indexed, you prob. should use lindexed or linklicious.

    Previous answers are right.

The money's in the list my friend!

Get a squeeze page, drive traffic to it, build a list, have a funnel with products with very high profit margins built in - bank the $$$.

    Keep it simple man!
