Payoneer experience - Debit card for Affiliate Marketers

First off, if you never heard of this company before, basically, they issue debit cards for their clients to get paid their earnings from various companies on.

In my case, direct deposit and Paypal is not an option. So, I am interested in getting a debit card that I can cash out my Amazon, Clickbank, etc. commissions with.

So, does anyone here know of any other options besides Payoneer? And if you have, what has your experience been with the other company?

I've researched a few. But, from some reviews that I've read in my research, I don't think that these following companies are the best: 2Checkout, Neteller, Priority Payout, Plimus, Netspend and some others that I don't recall right now.

Note: Some of the payment processors above, may not have a debit card at the time of me posting this.

Any useful replies will be much appreciated, not only for myself, but for others here, who might be non-US residents.

Edit
: A lot of the posts below, will be in response to the old title of this thread 'Payoneer alternatives - Debit card for Affiliate Marketers'. But, again, for reasons mentioned, I'm keeping this thread open for either topic.

I would like to ask you, what is the problem you have with payoneer? I am using it for a long time, and did not have a single issue with it till now.

Payoneer is pretty awesome.. and btw, Amazon does not allow direct deposit payment option to non-us affiliates anymore, so you're stuck with check (yack!) or amazon gift card.

The only other option is open an US business and you'll get access to a real bank account with a debit card attached, paypal.. I don't know the costs but they considerably higher than payoneer's virtual US account.

I don't know why you would need an alternative really.. I'm very happy with the service and have been using it successfully for 3-4 years now.

Hey folks, thanks for replying. Again, I appreciate it.

So, gabibeowulf, I think that Payoneer's debit card idea is awesome. The problem for me is finding a company partner that has a reasonable business model. - The ones that I researched on their list, are not that great.
And as an affiliate with Clickbank, Amazon, and a few other Affiliate Networks, I don't want to have to join a business in an entirely different market. ( ex. Freelance sites, CPA Networks, MLM, advertising platforms like Infolink - that pay out little to nothing, Forex, etc. ) to get their card. But, apparently, because of US regulations restrictions, it isn't possible to avoid this.
Because of that fact, I had to narrow down a list of companies that I at least stand a chance of getting the card through. ( The main one on my short list is GVO, if you ever seen|heard of the company. )

btw: If you don't mind me asking, through which Payoneer partner, did you get your card? - I really just need the card, so that I can get Payoneer's US payment service.

Edit: I almost forgot to response to this as well, the suggestion to open a US business. As I may or may not have mentioned, getting a bank account is currently not an option for me. ( This will also exclude using Paypal's services, because the account would have to be 'bank verified'. )

** Again, that is the appeal of Payoneer's debit card, if and when I can ever get it. It's that you can earn your commissions, have it sent to the card and then 'cash out' at an ATM. That's what I need for right now.

      Hey, dalegolden.

Most of the answer to your question, is in my reply above.

To be frank, really the only great experience I've had with Payoneer so far, is dealing with Nissim, one of their community managers.

For the sake of options, I think that there should be a lot more legit companies that do what they do; especially here in the states. - Less red tape and hoops jumping.

btw: I'll ask you the same thing that I asked the person above. - If you don't mind me asking, which Payoneer partner did you get your card from?

That way I can maybe apply for and get the same card for the US payment service, with your help.

On another note dalegolden, what is the 411 with your Adsense report in your signature link? Are you having success with your system? If so, can you help me find success with it too? Thanks!!

Are you saying that if you are a non-US company, Amazon will no longer pay you via a Payoneer visrtual US account / Debit Card?

last year i've made lot's of searches to find payoneer alternative but didn't find out. i've visited different forums and make lot's google search but didn't find any althernative.

if you really like payoneer just apply for the card and you'll get. it doesn't matter even if you're not from US.

all you have to do is to register through one of their partners and you'll get approved within few days of your application.

i applied my own through freelancer.com.

      Hey, zoldusta.

So, yeah, it's too bad that Payoneer seems to have a monopoly in the market, when it comes to debit cards; and getting commissions from them.

As for applying for the card, finding a Payoneer partner that I can work with is the issue. - As I mentioned earlier, most of their business partner's business models are terrible when it comes to getting paid.
In your case, you suggested that I sign up with Freelancer.com. But, I'm not a freelancer, I'm an affiliate. And besides, I have considered getting a Payoneer branded card through sites like this one, but then the problem of meeting Payoneer's threshold for applying for the US payment service will be a hindrance.
Why? Because freelancing sites have you ** bid ** for jobs, that you may or may not get and may or may not get paid for. And that is not the type of business I want to be in.

I appreciate your help all the same though. Thanks!!

Why do you need to find a Payoneer partner? If you want to get their card, you're not obliged to signup via one of their partners.

BTW, sign up using someone's affiliate link! Once you load $100 in your card both of you get $25 from Payoneer. However I guess that you should hurry... I don't know how long this offer is available

I originally registered through Copeac .. they're dead now...

You can work with a lot of companies as an affiliate.. Markethealth, Moreniche, Neverblue, Peerfly, Friendfinder... and that's just a couple I know of and pay directly on the payoneer card (without using the virtual account)

So, plenty of choices if you want to be an affiliate really.

      Thanks again for replying gabibeowolf.

So, the thing is that I'm not in the CPA industry, nor do want to be. For various reasons, including the fact that a lot offers in that industry are complete rip-offs for prospects. ex. Free Ipod, 'Magic' Pills, etc.
At least with Amazon, Clickbank, etc. I can actually find and promote legitimate product and services offers.

The problem again, is that none of these more reasonable companies, including their business models are available for me to apply for the Payoneer card directly.

btw: Again, as a sidenote, I'd like to learn more about your Adsense system in your signature. Thanks!

    Hi Guys,

Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for recommending Payoneer, and for the excellent feedback!

As mentioned above, Payoneer is an excellent way to receive payments from any of the thousands of companies that we have partnered with. In addition, our US Payment Service allows you to receive direct deposit transfers from additional US companies.

Regarding ClickBank, we actually have recently partnered with them to offer you an official payment method, through use of the US Payment Service. You can read more about that on our blog, and also sign up at http://bit.ly/ClickBankSignUpPage . You will not be required to receive any payments from our other additional partners; you can use that account for the US Payment Service alone.

Once approved for the card, you will be enrolled in the US Payment Service. You can then begin receiving payments from ClickBank, via US Direct Deposit, and also from other US companies on our white list of approved senders.

A quick note regarding Amazon Associates: we're aware that direct deposit was recently removed as a payment option for non-US affiliates, and are looking in to a possible solution for this. We hope to have an update within the next several business days.

I'd be happy to answer any additional questions that you all may have.

In reply to both Nissim and Adrian, I do need to sign-up through one of Payoneer's partners to get their debit card for the US payment service. As this was actually clarified for me by Nissim himself.

It is due to the fact that I am a US resident and Payoneer is restricted with having US residents apply directly for the card through their website. ( And this is even with the Clickbank application, which I'm actually an affiliate for. Bummer! )

It is for this main reason why I started this thread; so, that maybe I can get help from others who've successfully obtained the card here.

I'm still looking for assistance on this problem, until it's solved. Thanks!

go to this link, Contact us | Payoneer,

open the drop down box where you have "which program/partner are you with?"
you will find a list of partners

you can then do a further search on some of the pertners you dont know their line of product to

determine if they suit your need or not

    Hope this helps

      Hey, masterz. Thanks for replying.

I've actually researched all of Payoneer's partners listed here:
      Payoneer Affiliates: Networks

But, I will certainly check that 'drop-down' box list, to see if there are any companies that I might have missed. - It would be great if it was a full list of partners though.

Again, it is too bad that Payoneer couldn't just simply issue their card directly for US residents. - I wish that there were some more options when it comes to commission cards in general. That way, I probably would have a card already, to get paid my Amazon commissions.

Neverblue is an official partner of ours (if you contact support you can simply choose "other" from that list).

Unfortunately, the Payoneer card is not available to residents of India. This is because the RBI prohibits all non-Indian companies from issuing credit/debit cards to Indian residents.

You can, however, sign up to receive your Neverblue payments using our Global Bank Transfer Service. We support local payments to India, at only $2.99 per payment; so the payment is actually sent to you from a bank in India, in INR.

Simply sign in to your Neverblue account and select Payoneer as your payment method. You will then be directed to an online application page, where you can follow the instructions shown here to sign up for Global Bank Transfer payments: Lower Fees for Payoneer’s Global Bank Transfer (GBT) Service! | The Payoneer Blog

You could try applying for an Etrade brokerage account with comes with a debit card and a bank account number. Go to etrade.com and apply. Only thing you may have to fork out $500 or $1K (not sure how much) as an initial deposit. But once you get the card -- you can draw down on that plus their withdrawal fees are lower that many of the prepaid options out there

Ok, folks, since the time I posted this thread, I have yet been able to attain the Payoneer Debit Card, through my current means. - That is through a partner of Payoneer called GVO.
This company is the closest fit that I could find that gave me a shot, but not a reasonable one, at earning towards Payoneer's threshold.

So, maybe some of you folks here, who already have the card, or know of the process to get one, can help me out. Thanks.

Also, I just want to make a quick to reply to the responses above.:

        1. The reason I am interested in Payoneer, is because they work with the affiliate marketing industry and it's affiliates. So, does Entropay do the same?

Originally Posted by redexclub View Post

        2. This is a nice idea. I appreciate the recommendation, but I do not have that kind of capital on hand.

And also, for the reason stated above, unless the debit card that comes with the account will allow me to get paid my commissions from affiliate networks, like Amazon, then it will not be of any use to me.

@johntan17 and @Stevie C, thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated

@Josh MacDonald: Our customer support department has a waiting period of 2-4 business days for e-mail responses, and in addition offers immediate support via telephone and live chat. For the US Payment Service, we are indeed experiencing a higher than normal amount of new applications, and so there are currently additional delays. Please note, however, that this is a separate department from general customer support issues, so all matters not related to applying for the US Payment Service are not affected by any delay.

We're doing our best to review each new US Payment Service application as soon as possible, in the order they come in. As a benefit to members of the community here on Warrior Forum, David and I are always happy to help expedite your inquiries.

I have started using Payoneer this year to receive commission from some of the affiliate networks and so far everything goes well. However, as some Warriors have found out, the customer service from Payoneer is quite lacking sometimes. When I applied for the card last year, I emailed them some queries and it took them 1 week to get back to me. In the meantime, I use their live chat but the staffs cannot answer some of my questions.

Now what I do is I just email their community managers David Stein or Nissim Alkobi directly or post at the Payoneer forum if I encountered any problem. They will usually reply to the email or post within 24 hours.

As much as I would like to do business with this company, they are making it unnecessarily difficult for me to do so.

I want to move on to bigger and better things with my online business; and for the most part, not having their card is holding me up with me moving forward with my goals.

And lastly, if you reading this has ever been frustrated with a payment provider, be it Paypal, or otherwise, chime in. I can use the support with knowing that I'm not the only person dealing with sort of issue.

Thanks in advance for the positive feedback.

I don't know, because I do not use their services. - And from my quick research, it turns out that they offer a virtual cc service, which means that they are of no use to me.

But, I am curious as to what got you interested in the company in the first place.

I applied for the payoneer card through seoclerks and SHOCK on me! I live in Kenya and the card was sent to me within 3 weeks, that was very fast service!! Nissim and team ,keep it up. However in Kenya I understand I can't transfer money directly from paypal to payoneer debit card. Is this true? and if it is ,then which method can I use that will ensure I don't get charged a lot?

    Hey, romipayoneer.

I've received a lot of great support Nissim; and so, I was wondering if you're available for support as well. If so, what is the best way that I can reach you, in case Nissim is unavailable.

btw: I've been having a hard time getting through the process of getting a Payoneer branded debit card. - I'm currently trying to work with one of your company's partners (Fastspring), to eventually get one.

Thanks in advance for your time and support.

Do you have their debit card? I would like to get your experience with that, if you do.

    Hi AffMemo,

Yes i have it and never had a single problem with it. Highly recommended.

    Hi Romi,

Thanks to you for your support. Now that you're here there's 1 thing that i like to comment/request:----> transferring money between payoneer users (card to card service).

Don't know if it's back this feature again or not but a couple of months ago i've tried to send money to a Payoneer user (from Argentina to Spain) and it was not possible (the people from Payoneer told me that he needed to signup through a partner site + bla bla).

    I mean, if he's a customer and has a card...why can't i send him money?

That's the only limitation i see with the service. The rest works perfect.

    Best Regards,

    Diego.

The card to card is indeed still an active service, though it's a secondary one. The Payoneer card is focused on payroll and payout services - it is not meant for personal use. When someone applies for a card it is mainly to receive payments from partners (businesses we work with) and/or via our US Payment Service, which allows individuals to get paid by US companies.

In order to be eligible for the card to card transfer, both cardholders have to first of all be eligible for the service. Certain partners don't have the option enabled so this sometimes causes a problem. Another must is that both cardholders are actively receiving payments in the methods mentioned above (partners/USPS) and only then the C2C option opens up.

Hope that clarifies the issue for you!

Payoneer is widely used by the affiliate programs alternate to PayPal and I must say that it is most trustworthy and Reliable Payment option. I even don't understand why are you looking for another processor other than payoneer.

Well, when I started this thread, I was getting frustrated with the fact that due to being a U.S. resident, I couldn't get their card directly.
And also, when I started the process to look for a suitable business partner of theirs, to do business with, so that I can get a Payoneer branded card, I ended up with more roadblocks there, as well.

idk: Maybe I should change the topic title to something else. Because starting a new Payoneer thread, about some of the issues that I already mentioned here, might seem pointless.

ddev, Thanks again, for the feedback.

But, what I really would like to know, that would be helpful to me, is which Payoneer partner did you get the card from? Or did you manage to get the card directly? As being a U.S. resident, as I am, this is not possible, due to U.S. regulations.

I've had great luck with Netspend. Your account also has an account number and a routimng number so you can have direct deposits like payroll, stuff from the government like taxes etc..Plus they update the daily deposits every six hours and when the gov issues a check like SSI. SSI tells all banks to hold this until it's supposed to be posted but not Netspend, the funds will be available right away.

      Thanks for the reply jeffsolochek.

But, here's my question - does Netspend work as a payment processor for Affiliate Networks, like Payoneer does?
If so, that would be great. Because it would give another option (especially in my case, as an U.S. resident ) for others to get paid their affiliate commissions, etc.

You can't use it as a merchant account unfortunately. It just a great card to use rather than Green dot or Amex giftcard. I'm not familar With Payoneer but i will definetly be doing some research on it. I'll let you know what I find out.

I have a friend who is a citizen of a country where the president is an absolute clown and this president never had any experience prior to becoming president and even a recent website project of that government was a complete flop.

So my friend is very scared about staying in that country and he wants to eventually move out of that country to a safer country overseas, but he is very scared he will not be able to get his money out of his country so he can retire overseas in freedom.

Now, he wants to set up an overseas company and build an affiliate program income so he can take this income with him when he moves to a country with more freedom, but so many affiliate programs require Paypal and it is hard to get paid by Paypal into an overseas bank account.

Will Payoneer be able to verify the Paypal account that is in the name of his overseas company so that Payoneer will be able to accept payments from Paypal so my friend can get his affiliate marketing money through most any ATM no matter where he is in the world?

Will Payoneer support his efforts toward freedom? It is not illegal to have an overseas company as long as it is reported and taxes are paid. I hope Payoneer is on the side of freedom.

I am looking forward to your answer so I can help my friend.

Payoneer is fantastic in principle. I believe I used it for payment on a forex project Plimus. You can get paid into the card which you can then use as a normal Mastercard/Visa.

    Great.

My issue was that the chip and pin did not work so I could only use it online. Then (and this is the worst part) when I tried to get a replacement, the support team were truly ridiculous. I swear there was an intern type creature who I spent half an hour on the phone with trying to explain the logistics of chip and pin and how it works. I gave up and use it now just to buy Amazon gifts for friends and family... nice idea, lousy execution.

The Payoneer account has to be in the name of an individual and not a company name, but you will allow a person to draw out money from their offshore company Paypal account into the payoneer account that is in the name of a person that owns an offshore company as long as their identity if verified?

I use E-Wallet for all of my Credit Card Processing Needs, I have not ever had any issues with using E-Wallet In the Past 7 Months Or So. I get all of my funds automatically transferred to my prepaid debit card. You Can Request a Debit Card through Them as well. Might want to do some research to see if it will integrate with your current program.

You say US bank transfers? Will US Dollar transfers from an offshore bank that has a USD account within it work as long as the company is a real company? Then you will be able to transfer these USD transfers to the payoneer card that is in the name of one of the officers of the overseas company?

The US Payment Service only supports receiving US ACH transfers, from US companies. Currently we are not able to support receiving international wire transfers.

If you read the response from PayPal on the URL above, it appears that PayPal no longer allows Payoneer accounts to be linked to PP, but if you then look at a response given by a reader, it appears that you can fudge things, and if you "get it right" PayPal will see the Bank of America account that Payoneer uses and you can successfully get Payoneer and PayPal linked.

What is the truth? Can Payoneer be linked to Paypal and can Payoneer be used to verify a PayPal account?

Nissim? Can you answer these questions in detail please so I do not have to come back with another question?

Your last activity in this forum, Nissim, was in September of 2015. If you are not working for Payoneer, perhaps you could be so kind as to contact Payoneer and have someone take your place on this forum? Thanks.

          Thank you
