20K Profit In 3 Months Possible?

As you can probably tell, I am quite new here although I have been a warroom member for a number of years now. When I first looked into stating in IM I was to young to relise the amount of time needed to put in to become successful.

Now I am older, I feel I am more ready to put the time and effort into becoming successful. I am currently on my University christmas break and I am considering doing internet marketing instead of finding work over the break.

With that being said, do you think if I put in the hours of a full time job into internet marketing it would be possible to come out with 20k or more in profit within 3 months?

This money would help me greatly throughout the following year in funding some of my further studies. I would continue my internet marketing whilst at uni, but hope to have in running more in autopilot.

If you're putting in the hours of a full time job, and ready to make an investment too (not a big one), this is more than possible

The difference between IM and an offline job is the guarantee of income. You could go and wash cars for a summer and you know you will come away with x amount of dollars. You can do Internet Marketing for 3 months and depending on what you do, you could come away with nothing or thousands of dollars.

There would be a lot of people in this very forum that have spent a lot longer than 3 months (much longer) working at IM and still have not see any results. So it's very hard to say yes to your question. There are far too many variables. Do you have a much better chance of making it online if you were to spend a solid 3 months working at it? Yes, sure. But there are no guarantees.

Although it is doable and not impossible at all, I would suggest you make your first $20,

    ... then the next $200,

    ... then the next $2000,

... and finally your $20K goal....

I think thats a very good way to put it. Small, but attainable goals first.

You could spend 12 hours a day working on an outdated strategy and earn far less than a person putting in 2 hours a day on a strategy that gets results. The moral, your strategy is far more important than any time you invest. But, if you have a proven strategy and plan to follow, plus the extra time to dedicate to it, then you'd obviously be in a much better position.

Many have made thousands in far less time than 3 months, but the vast majority will not make a cent online in their first year, some never make any money at all in this business. That's enough to convince me that "time" is not as important as having a strategy and a plan to implement to it's fullest potential.

Always use the 80/20 rule when starting out. 80% of your time must be dedicated to income producing strategies and 20% to learning. What you learn from the 20% must be instantly implemented into the 80% if you think it's valuable.

Most will use the 20/80 rule - and go nowhere. Besides, time can become your worst enemy without a strategy in place. You will inevitably jump from one opportunity to the next if you haven't a plan to follow.

    I'm in university too.
Actually in my 3 one )),hopefully i will finish this one...

But remember this: Most universities only train you to be the right employee for someone else. If you want to work for yourself then you shouldn't have the approach that you have: "want to focus on uni and the im to work on autopilot"...

As far as the 20k, everything is possible with the right plan but that's not enough!

It is very possible to succeed in your goal but it's also possible to fail.

Lets do the maths - you'd need to sell 200 copies of a $100 product to make $20,000. That seems very feasible within that time frame with the right idea and implementation.

Unfortunately there is no guarantee that you will find that idea or implement it correctly. If there was a guarantee, everyone would be successful. So yes, it is possible. In fact, it's possible to make a lot more. But don't hold your breath.

It's possible, and I'm sure there are people who've done it ... though I came nowhere near achieving that myself, when I was starting.

I think that in internet marketing (as in many other places) it's close to universal for people to overestimate what they can achieve quickly but to underestimate what they can achieve gradually, with consistent effort.

I began my internet marketing business at the start of my second year of university, hoping by the time I graduated, two years later, to be earning enough not to have to get a job. With a great deal of luck, a lot of IM education, pre-existing writing skills, and consistent, hard work I did actually manage that, but I earned almost nothing for my first 3-4 months of it.

    Good luck!

Well ... that ignores all expenses and assumes both ownership of a $100 product and 100% profit, doesn't it?

As a ClickBank affiliate, for example, promoting a $97 product which pays 50% commission, to make $20,000 you'd actually need to sell 450 copies, not 200. And even that assumes no expenses at all.

I have been doing this off and on for a couple years. Slow but consistent is the key. I don't make a lot but that is when I am not applying consistent effort. When I am consistent that is when I start to see the $.

If you are starting IM just now. Its not impossible most likely you won't be able to do that and its the truth. There are so many people start IM with big hopes and dreams. Keep your goals realistic and achieve them slowly. It took over 8 months to make my 1st $1000 and just a month to make another.

Or have a good plan and stick to it till you see results.

You learn and grow. Yeah if you are quick learner.. you might make those figures.. anyways all the best.

With your obvious lack of experience, I would say no, not possible. To even ask that question shows a naive way of thinking. You'll need to work at it just like the rest of us and put some muscle into it.

If you spent many hours per day and spent some money I guess it is possible. Probable? Probably not but possible. As one poster said before start out with small goals first and then work your way up to the bigger ones.

From 0 to 20k within 3 months, I think, it is not possible. If this happens, it is named miracle.

      Probably not.

You'd need to be hitting the ground running with a plan - which you should already have in hand if you're starting the 3 months NOW.

And when I say plan, I mean a detailed step by step process - not just "I'm going to make 20K now."

Show me your plan in the next 24 hours and maybe I'll change my mind.

There is no guarantee that you or anyone else here will make $20K profit in 3 months.

The only way I can think of on how to make that much is to sell products that get you high commissions. (Ranging from $100-$3000).

You can not make that much if you were to sell a $20-$50 items.

If you are a marketer who knows what they are doing and have access money to spend on ads each month ($5,000-$10,000) then you can make that much if you were to sell those $20-$50 items commission products.

A few years ago my mentor used to make $30,000 profit each month but don't forget that he used to spend between $200-$600 per day on PPC advertising.
