INTERNET MARKETING

What form of marketing do you use mostly? Email, social, your own sites, third party, rss, ppc, torrent, or oher? And in regards to email marketing, it seems like a lot of people suggest email marketing, but I am a tad skeptical. I dont ever check my email, and a lot of people I know dont, so why is it so effective? Thanks.

Because there are a lot of people who do, as well, especially if you've engaged them, got their attention, and are building a relationship with them, establishing your credibility and developing their trust in you, and you can barely achieve that at all without email.

And because you need a way to keep people returning to your site and/or links, because very few people buy anything "the first time", and you can do that far more easily by email.

And because most of the money is in repeated sales to the same customers. Every time they buy on your recommendation and are pleased they did, they're ready to trust you again next time around. And the "next time around" is what makes it a business rather than a series of "hits and runs".

every traffic generation method can bring you money if you know how to use it well. but in my own opinion video and email marketing work best these days.

Ask them what they are selling. 98% of the time it's get rich quick bizopps. That corner of the internet operates very differently from the rest. They tend to lag behind quite a bit.

I will never use email as a major source of traffic generation ever again. Email as a primary online communications medium is dying. A consequence for us is that opt-ins, open rates and conversions aren't what they were 10 years ago. I think the role of list building today should be limited to nudging people every so often as a reminder that your site still exists. Just be creative in how you do that. No reason to mail daily or even weekly. Once a month is fine, if that.

- Social media promos tied in very closely to websites.
- Buy static ad spots (I try to avoid PPC).
- A network of sites used only to leverage traffic (takes many, many years to build this up though).

  It must be Elves. Some mornings...well every morning, really, there are payment notifications in my email ( which I check BTW). Couldn't be my email marketing working on 99% auto-pilot, that's for sure.

Most of our money come from google organic, google ppc, affiliate and email marketing.
In previous our business is getting money from directories, website review , newspaper , social bookmarking , blog but it seem not working that effective now .
