Do You Open E-Mail From Your Affiliate Managers?

So, you've signed up with another ClickBank publisher. Do your open their e-mail? If so, why? If not, why? I am frustrated with my open rate from my affiliates (some of whom are very good and some are beginners). Regardless, they rarely open my e-mails. I do not send junk to them. I do not plug in my affiliate links to IM products that will supposedly help them. I send valuable comprehensive info that's worth money. I think if they keep ignoring my e-mails, I will put those e-mails in a report and sell it LOL How the heck do you make your affiliates open your e-mails? In all honesty I think if they would just open them, they'd make a lot more money.

I can't give my own stats because I don't have enough signed up yet and haven't sent enough broadcasts yet.

Is yours a forced opt-in to get to the affiliate materials?
Not at all; it's entirely optional. They also e-mail me direct and read my replies to their e-mails but never open broadcasts

      1) Make sure it's obvious that the emails are from your program. For instance, use something like this in your subject line:

"[[firstname]], Your Activetrader affiliate newsletter" or
"[[firstname]] Important Activetrader affiliate tips" or
"[[firstname]], Here's how you can/Tips to boost your Activetrader commissions"

      2) Some people just aren't serious affiliates. They opted in, might not even be doing anything with your link, and therefore are not interested in your emails.

How do you know that they don't open your emails? The only way I know of to detect an email opening is to either ask for a read reciept or embed an image that will track opening. In both cases the recipient can refuse to play.

I know that I never send read reciepts to anyone and my email client blocks all images unless I allow them.

Is there some way of detecting an email has been opened that I don't know about?

Yes, to to your aweber control panel for that list and select "show leads" - "message opened" - select followup or broadcast - chose an e-mail message that you want to see open stats for.

But that only works if they allow their email program to display images, as discussed above.

You miss my point. What I'm trying to say is that if your readers don't want you or aweber to know that they have opened your email then there is no way that aweber can find out. If I choose to not accept images which is the default in most email clients then you will have no way of knowing whether I opened it or not.
