Is that site down? This is one of those way-more-useful-than-you-would-think utilities. How many times have you had trouble pulling up a site and wondered whether it was actually 'down', or for some reason only you were having trouble viewing it.

      It just checks if the website is online, not if actual pages exist. The result you got is saying that the site is online and available, it's just you that maybe having a problem viewing it.

      I second Myles Sinclair question, why Randall?

      I've used the site for a long time, it's dead simple, does what it says on the tin. How could it be improved? You must have heard the expression...

      If somethings not broke - why fix it?

      It's a great website to check whether a page or a website is in operation or not. As you no doubt know... a couple of times during the day the WF can run very slowly, to a crawl in fact. Or you might receive a Database Error message at certain times during the day or night.

      To check whether the fault is at your end or not simply pop in the url and you'll get an instant message telling you one way or the other whether or not a website is up or down.

      I can't see what else can be improved upon.
