Logged in to my host today and saw some web promotional tools that my hosting service provides upon signing up with them. This includes $$ Adwords/Yahoo advertising credits, etc. Its been a year since i signed up and i have yet to use those freebies! Which makes me wonder; does anyone actually use the free PPC credits and other free stuff that your hosting service provides?

Yeah man, you should use them! I get tons of these things through Godaddy, and I always use them. If nothing else, use it to push traffic to an offer page or something. It's free!

Nope I've never bothered with the extras that Hostgator offers. I tend to think there might be a catch but don't bother with. As for the PPC credits, you can get those nearly anywhere anyway. I did notice that Hostgator has a ton of free web templates. They're more suited to offline businesses rather than internet marketing. |

The ppc bonuses are generally for first time users only. I think when I first started making websites, my host had a search engine submitter that I used a couple of times. I also designed one website in a website builder but didn't like the restrictions it placed as I could already produce sites manually to the same level with ease. Since then I've never really explored them...
