There is nothing anyone here can do. You need to take this up with Facebook...

Was that really necessary? Don't you think he already knows and has a reason to post here? Perhaps to gather feedback based on warrior's experiences?

Did you not read the reason the OP posted? FACEBOOK BLOCKED THE ACCOUNT DUE TO TOS VIOLATION.

As I replied, there is nothing anyone here can do. It's the same theory when someone complains about their hosting company but never submits a ticket with them and comes here first.

Your reply was good enough and straight to the point. However, the following reply wasn't necessary. There was no need for such sarcasm towards OP just because he has only 4 posts. You see that a lot here: "newbies are stupid unless proven innocent!"

Comm'on, we all know that most of the time getting a response back from FB is useless (just like Adcenter and others, except Google), and a newbie might want to know if there are preferences as to what he/she has to say when contacting them, to get better response...etc. This is not always "whinning" or "complaining", but many times it is just precaution steps he/she'd like to take. (and actually If you read his post again, you'll notice he DID submit a support ticket, yet no reply... so he was wondering).

To apejan: most likely it's a lost case. Just do what you have to do and contact them (if you think you really haven't broken the rules). Good luck getting a reply back from them. However, if you know you did violate the TOS, then just move on. I'd even say just move on eitherway and don't waste your time. Get a new account and stop violating facebook TOS.

I didn't even look at post count. Once again this is not face book's help desk. You say yourself it is almost impossible to get a reply from face book. I can bet you it will be more than "almost" to get a reply from face book on the WF.

Yes it was more than necessary. The last time I checked face book does not have a representative here. This is the board on the forum where we are supposed to discuss making money not how to get around the fact someone broke another site's TOS.

No it is not ... maybe about losing it.

There is a board just for face book and such here. The discussion would have been better there if it had anything to do with making money there. It was not about making money it was about whining because you rolled the dice and lost. About tiptoeing too close to the line and getting your toes cut off.

          No it wasn't.

While Facebook may not have a representative someone else might have had experience and could help.

Just like when people ask about PayPal, ClickBank, etc.

Making money is broad. Getting his FB account back is about making money - for him.

Why didn't you just point him to that section of the forum? There really wasn't a reason to reply the way you did.

I didn't even know the Social Media forum was there but people always post in the wrong sections and reply to them. I've seen you reply, helpfully, to quit a few off-topic/wrong section posts.

I can see where the OP would not understand the violation though. The FB TOS (if what he posted is it) doesn't mention erotica. To some people, it's different. To FB, it may or may not be.

Troy is correct Garrie there's no need to grill him further.

Rule number 1 applies in this instance.

The OP should take this up with Facebook directly NOT post up his problem with them here on this forum.

Note: The main overriding rule for this forum is this:

                Rule #1

If you have a problem with another Warrior, a Guru, or God, take it up with them directly. Not here. No exceptions.

LOL Since when does two people discussing something make "Rule 1" come into effect?

                  Oh I know.

                  Never.

                  Nice try though.

According to my research, Facebook's Help Center is the best, and very likely only, way to attempt a resolution of your problem. Were I in your situation I'd do two things.

    1. Send a very polite, apologetic request for account reinstatement through the Help Center.
    2. Build a new page, and keep it squeaky clean. Facebook has banned users for posting pics of themselves nursing, for example. Facebook is not your platform. It's an opportunity to interact closely with your target market, but you delude yourself if you imagine for a moment that you have freedom of speech.
    3. As a preferred alternative to No. 2, I'd build my own website, found my own community, and deliver tons of value-packed content to entice users to join said community.

I wish you luck, but you can't fight city hall, even in cyberspace.
