Do any of you use excel for some of your products? One of the parts of my program requires charts and graphs etc over about 30-40 pages. It would be very easy to use excel to save the consumer space as you can add multiple tabs at the bottom instead of having them scroll through massive amounts of sheets via pdf etc. My only concern is that I don't want to alienate and buyers that may not have excel. What to do warriors?

If your recipient doesn't have Office, you could send them a link to either the (no cost) OpenOffice suite, Google Docs, or the free Microsoft Excel viewer.

OpenOffice Calc will open and save files in Excel format and a bunch of others.

I use an excel sheet as part of a report and I have had no complaints about its use.

I agree with others post. I've supplied products and reports with keynote and Excel files attached. I've actually had people tell me thank you for giving it to them. I did make the mistake once of doing a convoluted Excel with macros, and that was not good. People were afraid to open it. But other than that, go for it!

        Be well,
