Pre-made Squeeze Pages and Optimize Press

I recently purchased Optimize Press along with a PLR product that came with a pre-made squeeze and sales page. I successfully installed OP in Wordpress. However, when I uploaded the pre-made squeeze page HTML code, the graphics were missing and I am now lost. Each time I tried uploading the images or a PDF to WordPress I got an error message. I said I would just store the PDF or images on fileden or another similar site and insert that URL link into my code, but I am paying money each month for hosting and don't want to do that. I am missing a step here somewhere. Can someone please help me?

      Joseph,

Thanks for responding so quickly. However, I did upload everything via FileZilla and still nothing. I will try deleting and uploading again tomorrow.

Have you checked on your code? You must edit the code to reflect the right path of your images wherever hosted. Hope that helps.

      Yasir,

Yes, as far as I know I did check the code and I edited some of it to reflect my site information. My images are in FileZilla but will not upload or transfer to WP. Do must people host their images in a separate location? I sure hope my images and files can be hosted in the same place.

You probably just have the wrong path. Check your medial library. If the file is there, view the uploaded image and copy the image URL. Use that path and you will be ok.

      Will,

You may be right. I am getting ready to check it out now.

Are you trying to use a WP site, and have a link to the HTML page? Or are you trying to use an HTML page inside of WP?

The HTML page is looking for the images to be in a specific location - most likely a folder called "images" in the root directory. If that is the case, then you need to know the name of the image folder the HTML page is looking for, and make a folder of that name, put the images into that, and upload it.

If you are trying to use the HTML page by pasting it into WP, is the HTML looking for the images to be in WP's media folder, or is it looking for the images to be in their own folder?

      Don,

Right now all of my files are in their folders on either FileZilla or WP. The images are also in FileZilla. I have not been able to upload them to WP. It never works. :-( I am going to follow the steps you listed above.

    Hey,

I did something similar before, You could upload to your server via ftp, try this, upload your media file direct to WP. There should be a media upload page. Now with the URL of the media - link it with the HTML page - direct link to you WP site....

Let me know if that works for you .

      Samuel,

I did try uploading my images directly to WP, but it always failed. I think if it fails again today I am going to call GoDaddy again and have them help me figure it out.

Hey, Did it work? If you're still having issues then yes - you're hosting company will have live chat, but i had the same difficult you had so i know how frustrating it can be. I guarantee when you discover where you have been going wrong you will laugh and love how simple it was.

If this is not rectified, i could take screen shots of the ways i did it ? and send...

      Good evening Samuel,

Yes. I was able to finally get the images uploaded. However, something still is not working right because when I look at the sales page I uploaded some of the code still didn't copy correctly. I am just not sure. If you don't mind showing me what you did I would greatly appreciate it.
