Lead Gen Pay Structure

I am new to Warrior Forums and making money online. I am hoping to get so feedback on how to charge. I have a potential client that is offering to pay me to generate sales leads for their services on either a flat dollar amount per lead or a percentage of the sold amount for the life of the client.

Can anyone offer advice on what I need to be asking and which may be better.

Details I know are $10-15 per lead but will only last if they can close a preset percentage. Or 10% of the sale amount ongoing, average sale $900-$2000 per month. I will only be generating the lead and will not be closing them.

Any help is appreciated.

I do this for local businesses and I opt for a flat rate per sale. Different types of sales generate different commissions. 10% is the same concept.

I prefer getting paid on the sale instead of a lead ... but you must ensure the company knows how to close sales.

Be sure to check online for negative reviews so that you're dead in the water before you start.

Also ensure they have the capacity to handle higher volume.

Finally ensure you have a good tracking method in place for tracking sales.

I opted against leads because I didn't want to argue about lead quality and not get paid. I'm glad I did. I have a very high conversion rate and the commissions are huge.

It's a great model ... looking to be the only "affiliate" for a business. You can do very well assuming the company you work with can make the sale.
