Why would Amazon do this?

My site has a number of AWstats entries with Amazon IP addresses. Does anyone have any idea why Amazon would do page views on my ArticleLeaf.com site? A lot of IP addresses with lots of page views lead back to Amazon.

Is that Amazon's main IP or is that just an IP under their control? It could easily be a website that's hosted with them that's crawling your site so they wouldn't have anything to do with it...

I didn't realize that Amazon does hosting. That would make sense. It could be a number of visitors rather than just one.

amazonaws.com is for Amazon Web Services - with their application hosting being one of the most popular web services. I would assume it's another website that hitting your website and they are just hosted at Amazon.

EDIT - also most of their hosting is in the cloud do I doubt you can narrow down the exact website with just the IP.
