Unable to change parts of my OptimizePress squeeze page...

I recently decided that I was going to purchase OptimizePress and have been messing around with it all day and watching the tutorials online. I am setting up my first squeeze page, however when I try to change something format-wise such as the red arrow from the template or my header font size, nothing changes. Is there a setting or something I am missing? OptimizePress overall is very easy to use and helpful, although I had to revert it already to version 1.46 because the new one kept messing up and making wordpress entirely inaccessible

Thanks for any help!

If you have not found it yet, you do need to always update/save any changes you make with OptimizePress. Look for "Save Changes" at the extreme bottom of the page, and some changes are saved by clicking the "Update" button on the right. These changes are usually related to posts/post settings.

    I hope this was helpful.

I have been pressing the blue "update" button on the right before previewing and I am still getting the same thing.

        I know it sounds stupid.

But make sure you are changing the the settings on the right tab. Optimizepress has a whole host of tabs. I once spent a while editing a squeeze page only to find that id been fiddling with the sales page options...

So I double checked, my template is "Squeeze page 01" and I am changing the setting under "Squeeze Page Options". There is no "save changes" within the squeeze page options, simply the update button.

I know I'm updating correctly because lets say I go to "Opt-in/squeeze form options" and change the opt in box arrow to "hand drawn arrows blue", and enter a "opt in box headline", the text for the headline appears just fine when I update, however the big red arrow does not change to reflect the arrow change. The same goes for my header size/font/color. The text will change but I am stuck in the default styling.

Ok I think I found out what it was...

Apparently in the templates that have the big red arrow, the arrow doesn't count as "opt in box arrow" and the styling is locked in. When I change other templates, all of the styling options start working.

Thanks for the input, I just thought I would share my discovery with everyone. I cant be the only one who was confused by this

OK. This is interesting. Here is all I can come up with:

            1) Do make certain when using wordpress with the Optimizer installed as your theme that wordpress is totally, and always, up to date.

These things you may know and I certainly do not mean to insult you, I am just throwing out all I can in an attempt to help you.

            2) Do make certain to press the "blue Update" button. And when you attempt to visit the main page to view your changes, once you are on the page, hold the "control" button and press F5, this forces your page to update.

            3) All else fails the member site has video support and you might try that. OptimizePress Members Only | Optimize Press

I do hope you are able to solve this and I am sorry if I was not able to help you. Good Luck!
