I'm starting a new blog and I'm need of a fresh design, I used to use the same template for most of my blogs now but it gets boring, you know...

I'd like to hear your suggestions, what free WP blogging themes do you use and how do you like them?

Premium WordPress Themes, Web Templates, Mobile Themes | ThemeForest

Take a look at themeforest. They have a lot of free templates you can use. I think it comes down to your personal preference. Colors, features, layout. There are a ton of options out there and I will admit it's a big task to run through every option. I would just grab one and run with it. See how it goes...you can always change it.
