Suggestion for Revenue Options for a Quotes website

I've been cultivating a website with inspirational quotes and videos. I recently had the please of receiving a YouTube slap on the wrist. They didnt like that I uploaded an original video with the title, Take this Job and Shove it. 100% original and it wasnt a song, but apparently they considered it false advertising.

So, now I realize that I dont need to just depend on Adsense for residual income and may need to start building a list and offer products.

Any thoughts on good ideas of options to make available on a inspirational site?

    For inspirational quotes site...

I know of a guy who is doing very well with a site about Christian based quotes. He monetizes with advertising and books as an affiliate. But he's had this site for years and it's ranked well.

You can do a search for your keywords and see what the top sites are doing.

Also, quotes are popular at Pinterest. They have been so you can bet a lot of people have jumped on that bandwagon. But it's still worth exploring and doing.

And, Take This Job and Shove It is the name of an old song. A country and western song. Whatever...

    Good luck.

Thanks for bringing amazon back to mind. I never had the best success with Amazon. I used to include books all over my financial sites with little success. Now, my tracking links would show tons a clicks, but no sales. And doesnt Amazon only pay for initial click, but if the user clicks to other parts of amazon you get nothing.

I am going to search other sites like you suggest and see what I can find.

I used to own several quotes sites. I used to monetize my income through FastClick for them. Used to pay very well with the amount of traffic I used to get on them.
