Help with follow ups..

English is my second language both written and verbal, but was raised in the U.S. and English is my primary language. I can write follow-up to probably 5-7 sequences regarding a particular product, but how can I extend that? Should I transit to another product that is related to my initial offer? If I do, where and how can I find that second product, and how should I promote it?

A lot of marketers may have an autoresponder follow up series for 5-7 e-mails but then transition to using the broadcast functioning. This way you can write about something current in your market, also add personality to your mailings and if you do find a relevant product to mention (or create yourself) then you can put that in the e-mail too. Building a relationship is key so keep that in mind in all your mailings.

yes I agree with Debbie. I think you have to start doing the marketing differently than other marketers, start to build real and legit relationship with your subscribers.
I highly recommend you to start replying the emails personally and you can offer something inside your personal manual email . That works!!! I did it and I glad it worked.

I used to have a ton of messages in my auto-responder that went out on complete auto-pilot.

I was making sales but I wanted to send them broadcasts because I had new content that I had to share with my subscribers.

So instead of having them get too many emails (Both automatic and broadcast emails) I would just have 1 or 2 automatic emails go out and then I could just send them an email anytime I wanted. (Usually every day or two).

You can add a few products in your emails. There is no restriction to promoting only one at once.

Are you selling other products that are related to that product?

If not you can find such products, but this means that you'll
also have to provide valuable information along the way
and not just sell to your list.

Also you want to remain true to what you promised you
subscribers at the time of signing up.

    5-7 is really very little.

I have lists from which I earn far more after the 15th email than I do before it.

I space out the promotions, in about one email in 3, providing valuable niche-related content in the other 2 in 3.

    Certainly.

Most of the real money in affiliate marketing is in repeat sales to the same customers, and it's always good to have a few different products, especially at very different price-points.

The great attraction of affiliate marketing is that one can build up a real, asset-based business without being dependent on the longevity, continuity and survival of any one individual product.

Well, one takes this into account in selecting niches. "Single product niches" are rather limited. There are many affiliate networks from which one can find products?

I saw a post recently made by a very well-established, successful affiliate marketing Warrior in which he made the point that one of the great distinctions between people are very successful and unsuccessful in affiliate marketing is that the successful ones are the ones who (among other things) have at least a year's-worth of message set up in their autoresponder, and I was thinking how much I agreed with this. My oldest list autoresponder has well over 200 messages in the series and regularly produces income from people who subscribed long ago. But, to do this, you need a real continuity process in place so that you can maintain a high open-rate over the long term, and that process needs to start before people subscribe.

I finds that in income terms, it helps a lot to avoid broadcasts, for all the reasons explained in this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7301227
