Direct people to a higher payout Adsense page?

So I have a page that get's about 100 visitors per day and on average 5 to 10 clicks. The CTR seems good, however, each click earns me only about $.12

But what if I make a new page or site with higher pay-out keywords and let people click a link for more information and direct them to this site.
Will I get that higher amount per click?

So basically I get people to my site on the long-tail, but then direct them with a link to a page with the 1 or 2 word keywords for higher payouts.

Possible?

Thanks,
Dennis

If you automatically redirect them, you'll get banned from Adsense. $1.00 advertisers are not paying to get $0.12 traffic.

Well, I have no intentions to redirect them automatically. I was just wondering that if I created a link in the first paragraph that lead to a better Adsense payout page, if this will work...

You can try, why not. If the link is presented attractively you may get some 20-25% of them going to the next page. Of course, that would mean removing distractions (Adsense) from the first page. Try both ways in turns, and you'll see which is better.
