Is there large, US or UK based site to hire PHP programmer?

I just want a PHP job done, but I'd like to do it through a reputable company. US, UK or other native English country.

No offence to the smaller operations, but I've had too many experiences of one-person shops just running without finishing it, not replying to emails etc.

So I don't mind paying a bit more, just want a really trustworthy company, with lots testimonials and easy payment process.

Surely there is a big company that will handle this kind of thing?

    but isn't freelancer.com just one-man-bands? or do they not run off without doing the job because they'd get a bad review?

      They have companies also, and some good one man bands

      You just have to do your research and read their reviews. I think they have something where you pay when they reach a milestone

    I would've suggested Scriptlance, but they were recently aquired by Freelancer, so another vote for freelancer. Also, I wouldn't be afraid to buy from someonewho isn't from the US/UK. From my personal experience, programmers in other countries know English as well.
