How do people make money with facebook and youtube?

I hear these 2 sites mentioned in probably more than half of the threads on here but I just don't get it. i have never made a dime online and am wanting to learn. I can't even build the simplest website.

But I am on youtube and facebook multiple times daily and of course everything I do there is free...I don't click on any BS ads and if I am watching a youtube video and there is an advertisement, i don't even listen to it.

Please give me real answers and not general stuff like affiliate commissions, PPC, targeted traffic, etc.

I am a visual learner and I think that is why I am having trouble picking this up. If I could sit with someone at their computer for a couple months, I could pick this up so much easier.

Build a audience on Facebook with your target audience. Communicate value and entertainment to them. Communicate sometimes with you tube videos as posts and replies to comments. Use your You Tube channel to get more Facebook subscribers and vice versa.

A very popular method for making money on YouTube is to create a review for a product that you are promoting.

You don't have to put yourself in front of the camera (although it can help) and you breifly describe how the product can benefit someone who might be interested in it.

Besides putting yourself in the video, you can:

      1) Create a slideshow
      2) Powerpoint presentations
      3) Use pictures with audio in the back
      4) Read off a script

      ...etc

And in the description you can put a link to the affiliate offer.

From there you want to drive traffic to your video.

Seo helps, and there are many ways of getting your video on the first page (I have done that for a bunch of mine, but it also really depends on the competition of the keywords you are targeting)

Sharing your video on social networks (like FB) helps too.

The premise is to create your video, place link in description, get it ranked high on google (if you want to do that) then drive traffic to it.

      Hope that helps

Unfortunately I don't have much experience with Facebook, however, I do with YouTube. Here's what you need to do.

    1. Find a product to promote
    2. Keyword research
    3. Create a video
    4. Upload to YouTube and SEO
    5. Build links to outrank competitors

When choosing keywords, it's important that there isn't already a video ranking on Google with more than 20,000 views. If there is then I'd forget it and try find a different one.

When creating your video you should include a call to action and watermark the video. Give an incentive to get someone to purchase the product through your affiliate link, e.g a bonus. This is optional but will more than likely increase your conversion.

After you've search engine optimized the video and not ranking on Google within the first day, then you should build links to the video. This will rank the video higher in Google. If the video still isn't ranking then drive traffic to the video, the more views the video has the higher it will rank for your keyword.

If you have anymore questions I'd be glad to help,
    Adam

Its all about driving traffic, doesnt matter what "platform" you are using. Youtube, Facebook, twitter, squeeze page, blog, etc. Therefore, if you are on youtube browsing for funny videos obviously you arent going to click on ads. However, if you are on google looking up something-a niche-and decide to click on a youtube video..then thats who you want to target. They see the video and convert.

That's why I said to find a product to promote and create a video promoting that product.

It's possible to make money from YouTube and Facebook, but with Facebook you need to build fans, relationship, etc.

With YouTube there's already established traffic so what you need to do is put yourself in front of that traffic.

You can drive a ton of traffic using Facebook. Simply share your post in Facebook groups and you get a lot of visitors to your website

Those posts are irrelevant the next day. So its a constant grind of posting. Its similar to signature posting here. That strategy can bring traffic, leads and sales but its a grind. I use video marketing as my evergreen strategy. Videos last forever and get stronger over time.

if you dont know how to make a website you still can direct link to cpa offers while to you learn to make one. there are many drag and drop tools you can find online like weebly. start there maybe? in the mean time. Youtube is a great source. upload video related to a cpa offer and link it to the cpa offer in the description

Use both to drive traffic to your blog or offer or squeeze page. You don't sell directly on Facebook or Youtube, they're just entry points into your funnel.

On Facebook and Youtube i only share helpful content. No sales job, and the sites that i link to on Facebook aren't salesy. Content is king... keep getting your content ("money pages") out there, and wait for the traffic and increased stats occur.

You can earn with youtube using Adsense if you have one, however when people say they earn via facebook it does not mean they earn from there directly, but they use these different platforms to generate traffic for their site. Which brings you back to your first problem "you can't even build a simple website" well you have two options here, 1. Study it and try 2.hire someone to do it for you. Another thing you should remember is that earning online does not end after your site is built, it goes on, so either you learn the ropes of it or again hire someone knowledgeable to do it for you.
