Best Time In the Month For Sales?

Hi - I read that supermarkets always have higher sales at the beginning of a month when people have been paid.

Does this apply to online product launches, do you think?

I notice that I'm more ready to buy when there's more in my account, and wonder whether I should link a product launch to the first part of a month?

Any thoughts?

    You need to test this. usually I know for months, sales wont be great between may to sept due to summer and most people would have on holiday.

    Well, it depends more on how you're gonna launch it. The day of the month doesn't affect much but if that's your worry I don't see any problem why you shouldn't do the launch at the beginning of the month.

    If your product is for Internet marketers it should not affect you at all as they don't depend on a paycheck from a job

      Here's an interesting fact I just made up:

      99% of "Internet marketers" don't do IM full-time.

      They depend on a J.O.B. to pay the bills, and yes... their IM purchases.

    The best time of the month for sales is TODAY. An obnoxious answer indeed, but it's the truth.

    Everyone always finds excuses for waiting for certain "ideal" selling conditions, or why selling during certain times won't work, etc.

    Let me tell you something - it's all a bunch of nonsense. I made $16,084.76 during the first seven days of 2009 (Dec. 31-Jan. 6) when everyone told me it couldn't be done due to "people being broke from the holidays". Wrong.

    Bottom line - if you have something people desperately want and you can get it in front of them TODAY, then you should be selling it to them TODAY.

      I was thinking along the same lines...

      The best time for sales is just after I make an offer.

      Too many people get hung up on "what's the best X" and spend all their time making decisions when the real path to success is making those decisions fast and finding out for yourself what works best for YOU.
