Nice little video on a squeeze page design experiment

The Anatomy of a Perfect Squeeze Page Template | Digital Marketer

It's interesting how much of a niche-dependent factor this is, and that their minimalist one sometimes outperforms the longer version. To be expected I suppose.

Well I guess a more 'minimalist' one will always outperform a longer version in desperate markets. I guess something like the health niche, when a problem needs fixing NOW, or even recipes niche during holidays and so forth.

I suppose hobby-type niches need 'extra details' and benefits.

From my testing, a minimalist squeeze page will convert better and build a larger list.

But in regards to the QUALITY of the subscriber, a longer (almost sales page style) with an optin on the bottom will produce less but more responsive subscribers.

Of course this probably varies from niche to niche. I tested this in the anxiety niche.

I think this may have something to do with the attention span of the visitor that then becomes a subscriber, but who really knows...
