Copying Newletters? Is it Legal?

Hello friends,

This is all about mailing out to your list and what not. Im not a very compelling writer so I was thinking, are you able to copy someones email, switch their affiliate link our with yours, and send it to your own list in that same niche?

Would that be copywriting? I mean usually their just short emails.

What are your thoughts on that,

    It would be copy infringement.

No, but many product owners provide pre-written emails for their affiliates. Perhaps you should seek out some of those.

Yes, copy infringement. But what about following that same strategy hes using regarding what products he selling. Basically, selling the same products that he does during a certain time. That way I dont have to spend alot of time finding products, I can just copy his methods

Nothing wrong with following his tactics. Just remember, sometimes it is better not to promote at the exact same time all the other affiliates are promoting. The people on your list are more than likely on a lot more list. The big guys usually will get the program before you do. If their cookie is already set you could be making a sale for them.

What if he promotes a product that's garbage? If you're just peddling whatever he does, and you push some garbage product on your subscribers, what do you think that will do to your relationship with them?

Dan's content is irregularly read by handfuls of people. Join the elite few by reading his blog: dcrBlogs.com, following him on Twitter: dcrTweets.com or reading his fiction: dcrWrites.com but NOT by Clicking Here!

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

        Amazing point Dan.

That is like doing sales copy swipe and finding out later the tactics being used were for test purposes and the test failed lol.

Well, thats a pretty good reason. Thank you.

heres another question, if you were going advertise in different areas and Pay to acquire subscribers. What do you think a good goal would be as far as a Dollar to Subscriber ratio? I understand that there are many variables but just a good goal,

    For example,
    Spending $1000 = 6,000 Subscribers
    So thats a $1 = 6 subs ratio

Would that be too high? And if so, what do you think a realistic ratio would be and maybe a reachable goal with practice. Trying to set goals here.

Honestly most email marketers are very pleased to get one subscriber per dollar.

      $1 = 1 subscriber.

The average quoted subscriber value is $1per month also. This means, theoretically, your subscriber you paid $1 for should come to profit in month 2.

I really do not go for all of that though. Honestly there are so many free ways to build a list there is no need to pay.
