Finding affiliates?

I'd like to find some affiliates who would be willing to resell my course but not sure where to look.. I heard lots of bad things about clickbank not paying up - not even registering sales etc

Really I don't want to spend money on joining a JV forum, is there anywhere I can find affiliates for free?

I don't use any of those networks. I get all my affiates by word of mouth.
Once you get 10 or 20 good quality affiliates they will tell their friends about you.
I got started by finding bloggers that were already promoting my nitche and invited them to take a look.

Clickbank is a very good affiliate network , they sent out checks like clockwork, no need to worry.

Hi livingwell, Some affiliate forums including my own have a section for announcing new affiliate programs at no charge.

Many webmaster forums have free sections for advertising offers that allow ads about affiliate programs as well. You just have to find the right forums, read the TOS. Some you have to have a certain number of posts before you can post an ad, etc.
