Are You a Top Pay Per Click internet marketer?

Hi there,

I am giving you a full Respect and thumbs up if you are really one of the top Pay Per Click earners who play with Google Adwords campaigns as easy as 1-2-3.
Well, as far as I am concerned, I would really like to enjoy cashing in on Google Adwords campaigns as easy as 1-2-3, too. However, I have posted this question because I honestly and urgently need your help with regards to properly setting up the Google Adwords campaigns as well as selecting (copying & pasting) the right relevant keywords that will securely make me money.

Is it really true that I have to have about million keywords copied and pasted into one of my Google Adwords campaigns in order for me to be guaranteed earning some cash in 10 to 20 minutes later?
An internet marketer said that he smartly and elegantly copied and pasted millions of keywords from keywordspy.com into the Google Adwords campaigns and then he would go out enjoying himself off the computer while the huge amounts of money were flowing into his bank account.

I have mentioned this because it sounded like a fairytale. Anyway, can you please give me your own opinion on how to be successful making lots of money with Google Adwords and Pay Per Click.

Well sounds a little fairy taleish to me. If it was that simple we could all do it. I am sure he is wasting a lot of money on very broad Keywords. I am not sure Adwords would accept millions of Keywords either. Pay per click is totally trial and error. There are many variables to making money. A quality ad to promote (not all ads are equal) good ad copy, targeted Keywords, some money to blow and test and test and retest. I put out an ad this morning on Google. I have spent $47.33 and made $10.50 so far today. I will try to improve that with testing. I have 342 Keywords in that ad. It is not a walk in the park.

the days of the massive keyword lists are gone.. Try that now, and you are very likely going to get nailed with low quality scores.

Here's what works for me: adgroups with tightly themed keywords, the kw's used in the ads, and then a landing page optimized for those same keywords.

The days of adwords being the path to easy money are long gone, too. There is a lot of competition, and a lot of newbies stepping in every day, running up the bids because they don't know what their conversion rates are, what they can pay per visitor and still make a profit, etc.

And then you got guys like me who are willing to use ppc for testing, in which case I don't mind losing money on ppc for a few days while I work on my landing page and sort out which kw's to focus my long term attention on. I've bid $100 per click before just to ensure I was in the top position for a day or so! No, I never actually had to pay anything close to that, but it probably really screwed with the costs for the next few guys running ads

ps: when I say tightly themed kw's, I mean tight. I have plenty of adgroups with only 1 phrase used 3 times - broad match, phrase match, exact match.
