Best way to maximize sales page

I'm creating my first product and I'm trying to figure out the best way to set up my sales page with an opt in so far i have three options and i'am wondering which one would be the best.

Ex. I post an article and someones clicks my resource box they get directed to

a) my sales page with an opt in pop up
b) my sales page with no opt in pop up but a opt in on the actual sales page
c) a squeeze page where after they insert their email they get redirected to my sales page

Which would be the best page to create for maximum sales and opt ins or if there is a better way to do it please let me know.

    d) floating action button

Would not do a pop up that's annoying instead after they click on your download link or payment link redirect them to your opt in page.

Is this product going to have a price or is it free?

for a priced then you do not want a pop up for sure. Make it an option to join your list after they download the product I would say put it near the order button and then to a squeeze page after they pay saying Get up to date information from me about "product name" by joining my mailing list
This way you know people are your list are people that are going to care what you have to say. No floaters on your list. Plus you are going to know these people are buyers because they just pulled out their credit card and ordered from you. So after they buy you want to hit them with an up sell if you can if not then in your auto responder hit them with another product of yours that has to do with the same subject or a product off click bank etc that has to do with your first product you sold. You should see some extra sales this way. The best time to get someone to buy is those first moments where they pulled out their credit card and bought from you and still have it out of their wallet.

That was a little ranty lol sorry but 1am here getting tired Let me know if you need any clearning up.

Vanquish, I would do as BlogBrowser recommended, give away something for free, like a sneak-peek and place the form in a few separate areas of your site... but also add a hover popup box that they can easily close if they don't go for it.

You'll get many through the hover popup, and the ones you don't, you'll get through one of the forms on the site.

However, in order to capture the subscribers, make sure you're giving away something valuable, like a 7-part email course or a free chapter of the book... or something similar.

    Anyway, I hope this helped.

A hover pop-up appears to hover within the web-page. It is usually unblockable. For a real-life working example click on my link below, you'll see I set mine to fade into the current window gradually - but there are other options available for you.

I think the fade-in is less annoying than having your webform slowly slide into view. This is a only a personal opinion though.

    Hope this helps.
