Help With Facebook Marketing Please?

Hello,
These days, I'm using facebook to start connections with local businesses...I'm loving it and results are quite promising...

One question...I noticed that when I post in their timeline, facebook shows it on my timeline as well...I don't want my local competitors to know about my contacts and my marketing strategies.
Do you guys know how to deactivate this funtion?

Thank you in advance.

I think you can manage this on your privacy settings, you can also try to click the gear button beside the post button before posting your message on their wall, this will allow you to adjust settings on he sees the post, but there are instances that the account owner have control over who sees posts on their wall. So better yet opt for a personal message rather than posting on their wall.

The page owner controls what shows and what does not on his/her page. Your options on someone else's page is limited.

To remove from your timeline - go to your wall and click on the gear - delete it or change visibility to yourself.

I sometimes change visibility to myself as a reminder (instead of deleting it).

For facebook marketing you need good quality page first.
You should share info about your product with your friends.

That's because you are posting on their page as yourself using your own profile. You need to instead post on their page logged in as their business profile. It's a simple selection in the top right hand drop down menu that says 'Use Facebook as'.
