Youtube keyword research ?

I want to make some videos for youtube however the keyword tool feature of youtube is not openning for me since 2 days ago, have tried proxy, vpn, disable adblock, etc.

What other good free options do I have for this ?

What is the way the videos are ordered to figure their ranking ? Because everytime I run the search on a keyword they come out unordered on views etc so I am unsure of it what classify it.

I can't open it either. I only use that as a guide anyway as a lot of the lower volume keywords don't even return results. There will be a correlation between the data from the YouTube keyword tool and the normal Google keyword tool. So just use the normal keyword tool to find your keywords. If a term is highly searched on there, it will be highly searched on YouTube.

I see the thing is that I wanted to SEO mainly within youtube itself with views+likes+comments so I was very interested to see what the yt kw had to offer.

    Thanks anyway.

You need some software to extract that data, there are plenty about to help you research the views, likes, comments etc. I use Tube Detective by Mark Olson to help me with that. The keyword data from the YouTube keyword tool only shows you the amount of searches, not the other data you're after. Use the normal keyword tool to show you the search volume on Google, and you can be sure the most popular keywords from Google will relate to highly searched terms on YouTube.

Mostly normal google keyword tool is enough, you can always check with that.
