Low cost autoresponders

Hi - I am putting together a website for a builder and I want to be able to capture prospects emails for follow up quotes.

But he doesn't need all the bells and whistles of Aweber or Get Response - so wondering if anyone can recommend a lower cost autoresponder.

All he needs to do is have an html sign up form, collect addresses and ability to send plain text broadcasts.

I was told that www.A1ebiz.com was pretty good with good customer support.

Some hosting companies when you sign up give you a free autoresponder why don't you check out your hosting.

You could try something like PHPList which is free.

If that's all that's needed (and he doesn't ever expect to schedule sending, or send sequential mailings) - try googlegroups or yahoogroups in list mailing mode.

Advantages: Free, no spam issues, and a simple user interface (including the ability to send the email from your client software).

Other free options include isoresponder or freeautobot.

Low cost - check out rapidresponsebot...

Do a search he may still have a WSO floating around.

I recommend aweber, it's user interface is much more user friend and the graphic is better compare to getresponder.

trafficwave.net , unlimited everything for a very low monthly price. I've been using it for 2 months and I love it. I also believe he is a Warrior forum member.

The most recommended low cost autoresponder is Getresponse.com it very highly recommended. Take a look at the site for you to find out.

Infinite Responder is also a free self-hosted script that's pretty easy to setup and use.

I am not sure of which free autoresponders are good. I have always used aweber. I have never had a problem with their service and very user friendly.

I second the recommendation for mail chimp. Its what I am using right now. Another one is Campaigner.com Its $10 a month for up to 500 subscribers (unlimited emails). Its what Linkedin uses.

I only recommend two autoresponders:

1. aweber
2. getresponse

they are both extremely cheap, and personally i wouldnt go with anyone else.
