I would agree that if you are ok with using Google their Analytics are pretty good. Otherwise HyperTracker is another good option

  • Gothilda,

I also would recommend Google’s platform. It is super easy to set up and provides some very valuable data. Also, even if you decide to use something else, you can get some free practice with tracking links and aggregating data without paying a service.

There is also a wealth of information on how to use it here,

    Google Analytics

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn

Prosper202 is a good piece of free software. I use it and you can track all sorts of stuff. Best to host it on your own domain, if you can.

I'm not a fan of Google Analytics because Google knows too much already about my online activities. I don't want to willingly share more with them.

I own Demon Tracking and it's a great product especially for the price. If you use Aweber then it will probably work great for you but I could not integrate it with a different AR that I'm using.

I highly recommend CPVlabs. It's much pricier but well worth it. It does MUCH more than Demon in terms of the types and levels of campaigns it can track. You can design a pretty elaborate sequence and CPVlabs can probably track it. Demon doesn't go as deep.

I don't think tracking is something to skimp on so I recommend CPVlabs.

Use Google Analytics. The other services require information from you.

    Nothing's perfect... revelation.

G Analytics is JS, and many browsers automatically block JS. So you'll get an incomplete picture using GA.

This is a good and informative read. (not my site)

I think the best approach is combining two scripts. Choose wisely so you get overlap and more accurate data.

If you do use Google Analytics, you'll need to use Google's URL Builder with it. Otherwise you won't be able to track your campaigns.
