Design Suggestion Needed please for Wordpress site

How do you create an entry page for an adult site - you know the page that says you must be over 18 to enter the site? Is there a technique or special script or do you just create a static page?

    Depends on your goal. If you just want your visitors to land on the entry page if they type in the URL, then a static page is fine.

    However, if you want your entry page to show up regardless of what page they land on, your going to need something a bit more complicated. This would be more like a content blocker until they agree to the term of service (i.e. over 18/21).

    A content blocker would require a cookie so they don't hit the entry page over and over again while on the site. It would also require a redirect back to the desired page after they've clicked enter.

    Off the top of my head, I can't think of any WordPress theme or plugin that would solve this problem. Maybe you can find a plugin that instead uses a popup that blocks the entire page and if they click 'leave' takes them to a clean static page (or the referrer URL). Make sure the popup is not blockable by pop up blockers (might need to be flash or HTML5).

      It's a wordpress site i have been asked to re-do and it uses flash. I did not even think of it so I just checked and if you enter a specific page, the entry door is not showing up so I guess a static page would be good enough.
