Whiteboard Animation Split Test?

Hi,

I really like the idea of making the next sales video in a whiteboard animation. However the more and more I watch these videos and talk to others about these videos I get the feeling that the prospect is more in awe of the whiteboard animation technique than the marketing message they are viewing.

Not saying it doesn't work, I am sure it does. But I wonder if anyone has split tested this against sayyyy... a real person talking on screen.

Any other split test information you have on whiteboard animations is totally welcomed.

True, the more somebody watches some technique the more blind he/she becomes aware of it.
But that doesn't mean that it will stop working, this technique is one of the best and in my opinion, it will continue being there and continue being converting.

Some techniques become old, but it depends on how old is it to the viewer!

People will only be wowed by the animation and video style if your message is weak. A poor sales video is a poor sales video, regardless of the actual style.

Politicians use them to convey certain messages so im sure they get the message across...

Hello we have ran all different types of split test and we have found some pretty cool stuff. If the message sucks the people will watch the whiteboard videos but they do not convert if the message is powerful and the whiteboard video is great quality you will get the best conversions compared to any other video
