Dot Com Domains - 99 cents

Special offer going on at "slow daddy." See the yellow bar for details (right under the top horizontal navigation buttons).

Ninety-nine cent dot com domains, up to 3, for the first year. Can't use PayPal to buy them.

Yes there are a lot of upsells, but just scroll to the bottom of each and say "no thanks."

There are always promotions going on throughout the year and you can use coupon codes to get reduced rates for renewals. I never pay more than $7.99 for renewals, sometimes a lot less.

I was trying it on GoDaddy, but I don't find it.

I know that this requires credit card for it.

What is the registrar which you mean?

You have the right registrar. Go to the home page and look at the yellow horizontal bar that says:

"SPECIAL OFFER! .COM just $0.99*! Additional .COMs just $7.99* per year! View offer details" right at the top of the page.

I have an account there, could it be that I am seeing something on my site that they are not offering to you? I don't know.

To be honest I can't see it either. Do you have to be logged in to see it?

I just tried going through their registering process and that offer still didn't pop up. They asked $12 something for the .com and an extra $6.99 for whois protection? wow, that's seriously lame...and the reason why I stick with namecheap (~$9 per .com, free whois guard and no upsell bombardment).

You've been able to get up to 5 .99 cent .com's at 1and1 recently.
Free privacy, there hosting isn't so hot but great for domains, cheap renewals compared to many

I've bought two with GoDaddy, two separate times. Yes, you need to have an account...just pick your domain name, skip past all of the upsells, and you're good to go.
