Question About Having a Blog With Both .Blogspot & .Com

Okay, so I run all my stuff on Blogger, i know I should switch to wordpress and plan on it but not in the mood for a learning curve at the moment.

I have a few questions regarding having a .blogspot that also has a custom domain forwarded to it.

If I buy backlinks or leave comments on blogs is it better to leave a link to my .com or to my .blogspot? I have a blog at blogger but also have a custom domain being forwarded to it.

One other question. What's the best way to post a link on a comment or if I'm buying links on fiverr how should I give them my domain?

To your .com, clearly ... because one day Blogger may close you down like all the people in the threads listed here, and if the links are all to your .com then at least they'll retain some value to your business.

The best way is clearly to give it to them with a typo in it, so that Google's Penguin update doesn't heavily penalize or even de-index your site, exactly as it has done to so many other Warriors who've bought backlinks at Fiverr, suffered the consequences, and posted threads about their problems in the SEO folder, some of them even posting email explanations they've received from Google, stating openly that "bought, mass/automated backlinks" are the reason their site's been so heavily penalized.

I'm not trying to insult you, and I hope you take my post in the light-hearted way I intend it, but buying backlinking services on Fiverr, these days, is "sub-optimal", to put it very politely.

Wake up and smell the coffee, Jgetsmoneyy, otherwise you'll become "Jrunsoutofmoneyy"!

Appreciate the advice. What do you mean by a typo, put a typo in my domain name? For example if my domain is carblogger.com i would want to submit it as carbloggr.com?

Does that backlink still help me since the spelling is wrong?

Or did you misspell soemthing in the description or keywords?

I'm clueless when it comes to backlinks and things like this so appeciate any advice you can share. THanks.

one other thing if you doint mind commenting on it as well alex. How about when I make comments on blogs and thing what's the best way to show my link which format

I owe you an apology, here - which I cordially offer.

I didn't mean it literally: I was just trying (in my facetious way) to say that doing this at all is such a dreadfully bad idea that it would be "the saving grace" if you made a mistake in supplying your domain-name to the supplier of the mass/automated backlinking service so that Google doesn't associate the spammy backlinks with your own site, because you'll surely incur heavy SEO penalties if it does. Don't do this - you can gain no real advantage from it, but you will get penalized for it, sooner or later. I apologize for saying this jokingly rather than more seriously: it's an entirely serious point. Sorry!

Seriously, there are probably 50 threads in this forum, in which you can read about what a bad thing this would be to do, and how it can only backfire on you, while not gaining you any real SEO benefits at all.

Google's "Penguin Update", earlier this year, introduced dramatic SEO penalties for the sites of webmasters who've done "automated backlinking" on non-relevant sites, using exactly the types of software typically used by Fiverr backlink providers. Some Warriors, who are heavily dependent on Google for their primary traffic, literally had their businesses ruined by this, and have explained why in some detail, quoting what Google said to them about why. It's a mistake to avoid.

Mysite.com. And you give people your link at http://mysite.com for a hyperlink (as if you're embedding it) but if you're just advertising it or telling people about it, use mysite.com.
