Suggestions plz: Best place to sell domains fast?

Hi All!

I am new to domaining and have made some mistakes as well on the way. For one of the domains, I did receive a query from a person who turned out to be an established online entrepreneur. That was the end. The guy did not revert back.

Now I am looking to sell my domains. I have listed them on NamePros.com. I would be thankful if some seasoned domainers could share their experience about domain marketplaces where you can find buyers fast.

Also, how reliable is ESTIBOT valuation? What would be the error margin in its valuation? I get a valuation of around $4K for one domain while DomainWorth.com says $1.5K.

Thanks

No fast method. Just do cold calling (via emails or phone).

I have tried emails for a few domains, but this strategy has not worked for me so far. Maybe, it's the domain type that makes it hard to find end users.

I don't know the domains, but emailing people that I think could be interested is the fasted way that I have sold domains. Namepros will get you very low prices as you are selling to resellers rather than end users.

The way I find people who may be interested is to insert the keywords for the domain in Google and search. Then I start with about page 10 of the results and work upward to page 1, looking for companies that might have an interest in the domain. I normally can find some contact info or a contact form on their websites.

As for Estibot and other software evaluation tools, they are pretty worthless. The domain is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

The email that I send simply states that I am selling such and such a domain and here is why I think this domain would benefit your company (then list the benefits of this domain). Then I tell them that I am accepting offers for this domain.

Some places to sell include DNForum, DigitalPoint Forum, eBay, Godaddy Auctions, Flippa, Sitepoint, V7N etc.

    Hi,

For me Digital Point, Ebay and Flippa is the fastest among them all. But it also needs some patience to sell your domains.

    Cheers!
