I have been in internet marketing for over 5 years and have been thinking which one does one give more effort in..offline marketing or online marketing for product promotions.I'd like to know my fellow Warriors view on offline marketing and online marketing..the differences between the two and similiarities alike..which one does one devote more time to achieve maximum profits

The real money is when you combine online marketing with offline marketing. Don't limit yourself to one or the other. For a few hundred bucks you can make almost any digital product into a offline product by placing it on a cd or putting it into book or report form.

I really like offline marketing...of course, online is still my favorite just because of speed to market and low cost. One thing I love to do is magazine display ads for mass market offers. A great way to do this is to run Placement campaigns using image ads...I split test multiple ads and approaches. Then once I have a clear winner...pretty much just based on click through rate. I run that same ad, as close as possible...depending on the ad space available in the targeted magazine...it sometimes needs to be resized or rearranged a bit. I've done this about 20 times and it's been profitable each time. Different levels of profitable of course, but a few of those where home runs! The first time is really pretty intense...depending on the magazine you're targeting the minimum ad buy, which also varies by time of the year, can be around $5K+. But, man it is fun. It's like in the movie Armageddon...where he says I'm 98% excited 2% scared or 2% excited 98% scared. Online is Great...Add in Offline and the rewards can be outstanding. |

Great ? I came from the old school era, I was very successful with the Home meetings and 3 way calls. This type of marketing, without a doubt created momentum to grow your business fast. Now let's talk about the computer era. I prefer this better, I'm in my robe as I write, it's raining outside and people are going to work, and I enjoy working from home. James Lawrence 904-444-2989 |

Neither one is necessarily more profitable than the other. It's definitely quicker and easier for "new to intermediate" marketers to make good money offline because each job can be worth thousands. (A figure most people will struggle to make in 6 months online.) And you only need 2 or 3 good clients to create a full-time 6-figure income. However there are many benefits to online marketing as well -- such as it's generally more "hands off" and passive. And you get to sit on your butt all day. The most profitable thing is to do both |
| Thought About Offline Consulting? Fiona - $5,500 + $600/m 1st Week... Anthony - $7k + $594/m... Liz - $12k 1st Month... Rob - $7k + $800/ 1st Month... Scott - $45,000 in 3m... 20/yo Jock 6-Figure Client 2nd Month Don't you deserve the same unfair advantage? | |
