Does Google look down upon keywords that are in the same tag that are too similar for example kitchen tool, kitchen tools, and new kitchen tools?

What do you mean by bad? Bad for SEO, bad for karma? lol...j/k I'm assuming you mean SEO, so no, they're not bad. However, by targeting a keyword like kitchen tools, you're getting a broad range of visitors. I don't know if you're actually targeting that one or not, but let's say for argument's sake you are. It's not a buying keyword. A specific model of kitchen tool would be a buying keyword. "how to use [insert tool]" is kind of buying keyword...I don't know how much of a market would be around kitchen tools, but the point is, you want targeted keywords, not just long tail keywords. |

yes but my site is a store with a large range then i go down into categories where i start to use targeted keywords, like kitchen tools would be a category, with sub categories like knives, silverware sets, things like this, then sub categories from them to specific products and brand names.
